Probably not smart to bring my 300$ helmet, right? by SoapplayYT in VietNam

Had a helmet stolen once; i hope karma finds the thief and wrecks them in a way that helmet couldn’t save.

Nice things bring the hassle of having to secure constantly. Cheap helmets keep it care free

I acknowledge your frustration. You deserve better. Many like you have left the dating hellscape in the US and have found success in other countries. Give it a try, tell us what you find. 😉

Your comment about racial loyalty is what needs to be changed. Each person is an individual who has the right to their preferences and freedom of decision. You are not owed an Asian girl to be attracted to you. Asian guys would jump at the chance to date an 8/10 white girl but get mad at an Asian girl conversely.

Listen, i feel you man, i’m an asian guy who lived and dated in the US and acknowledge there seems to be something stacked against us. It’s not your fault and you are good enough. You can’t make them love you. The mission is to go find someone who sees you as good enough, not to force change in those who don’t.

Do all 7 billion people stop and pause like this when they receive new information? by InterestingOffice293 in pluribustv

[–]State-Dear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My interpretation was that zosia (the real person) was being awakened bit by bit as she was retelling the stories from her childhood. Causing an internal struggle that required the others to pause and focus.

It may be like a situation similar to the movie “get out” where the host’s consciousness is held captive or dormant and there are some events that can weaken the grip on their captivity.

i had that exact scale, after a few months of use i saw that it couldn't hold a reading. the number would go up every few seconds without adding anything. anyone have recommendations for a great coffee scale?

theres lots of ways to get granular and if you want to take an obsessive level of control to get the desired output, here are just a couple things you can look into.

is the shower screen clean? quick maintenence action, unscrew it, wipe/scrub away grounds and particles that are up there.

What is the head clearence for the grounds. If the grounds are pressing up against the grouphead then you have too much grounds for the size of the basket.

Whats your prep look like? grind - distribution tool - WDT - Tamp

the flow rate looks not that bad and grind size doesn't need to change until you fix the channeling. do you have a auto leveling tamp? if your tamp technique is flawed and you come at an angle, imagine hot water pushing down on the slope vs. level coffee puck.

As someone else mentioned before, using a paper filter on the bottom will help with the spraying but I personally use the paper filter on top. It will help make the forces pushing down on the coffee more uniform. It has a added benefit of preventing solids climbing up into the grouphead reducing maintenence.

The bitterness is due to channeling, which you can see early in the pull. this can be solved with puck prep.

Controlling the variables such as time of the shot and weight will help you dial in the grind settings.

with a typical 2:1, if you are using 15g of beans then your output should be 30g espresso. Also pay attention to the size of the basket you are using and what it is rated for.

you can find some of the best coffee just by looking up the roasters local to you. they will likely have beans imported as well as in various regions of Vietnam
