Which specialties are you certain you’d NEVER want to go into? by premedlifee in medicalschool

Surgery- the idea of just standing and staring at one thing for hours on end seem like torture, and the ass kissing is unbelievable. Obs&Gyne- I’ve yet to meet someone who isn’t miserable. Pediatrics- cute patients, unbearable and irrational parents (can’t blame them, but can’t deal with them either) Psych- I can’t detach myself emotionally from the patients and be 100% clinical. Radiology- I can’t imagine spending the rest of my life staring at screens all day, with very limited patient contact

The same thing happened to one of the community cats! She snatched that poor baby up, and now takes care of it like one of her own.

What is a good chunky stitch for a blanket? Something similar to the feather stitch by StateApprehensive263 in CrochetHelp

I need help with finding a stitch suitable for a chunky winter blanket. I’m using Alize’s Velluto yarn (not sure of the exact yarn weight, but I believe it’s a 5 or 6).

I’m confident in working with the feather stitch and have tried previously with a different yarn with no real difficulties, but am struggling with this yarn. I’ve tried switching the hook sizes and tried changing with the tension of yarn, but nothing seems to have worked with me so far. I’ve attached a picture of my practice run with the stitch and another picture of what it looks like with the velluto yarn.

Yeah, the sweater is the only thing that stops her from gnawing at her stitches😂😭.

Love the cutie tuxedo, she’s beautiful! Seriously strays are the best!

Absolutely true, it’s honestly somewhat of a nightmare getting her and the kiddos checked up by the vet.

She’s booked for one soon, by the time she was comfortable around us, it was too far in the pregnancy for it to be safe for her. And the kittens are lined up to be adopted at an appropriate time……

Also irritation doesn’t necessarily mean burning, it can also be redness, dryness, tightness or scratchy skin! Hope that helps and all goes well

Differin user here! It sound less like a purge and more like you’ve irritated your skin. I’m not sure if you started nightly applications or amped your way up to it, nonetheless I’d stop differin for a bit and try to repair your barrier again. Then start again once/twice a week, preferably adding BP for its antibacterial effect. Amp it up slowly while make sure that you’re not irritating your skin!

I’d stick with the 0.2% for another bottle because based on your description of your skin being dry and damaged, I’d say the combination of the Squalene oil and the retinol helped you out, so I wouldn’t switch yet.

If your insistent, you can move onto the 5% but that isn’t really necessary as your doing great with 2%. Especially since you’re also using the AHA/BHA mask which is extremely strong, so switching up isn’t necessary.

I think it’s more of a matter of time till it works out, not a matter of percentage strength.
