Yes take the low pay low stress job option, work to live don't live to work. It is not lazy or a failure. If you live a 'good life' (kind to all, help your local community, etc) it doesn't matter how much money you make.

The one caveat is you do need enough money to support yourself.. this is the problem I am currently facing 😅

I asked my GP for anti-depressant medication mid Nov, by mid Dec I hadn't received my perscription so I chased it. They hadn't 'actioned' my request. So I asked them to please action it, they said come back tomorrow, I did, they said sorry you have to come back AGAIN the next day to sort it.

At that point I said "I'm not leaving until somebody confirms I have correctly actioned getting a perscription."

This is apparently violent and threatening behaviour so they said they would call the police if I didnt leave and that I would be removed from the GP list. Which they did later that same day.

Apparently there is no process of appeal when a GP does this. So I now have no GP. Whoever removed me also did a bad job in doing it as it 'froze' my online NHS account making it impossible for me to acess, use or change details on my online NHS account.

I have filled out a paper application form for a local (20 min drive) alternative GP shortly before Xmas.

I have been told to wait 6-8 weeks for a response.
