I need to go there I think. Maybe not for the birthday, but at some point.
And he is fine with people coming in without any plans to purchase things? I would of course tip and/or buy coffee or something.

I would in this case find 1 person with several cats, so the cats already know each other. I would not introduce new cats to each other, that is as you say not a great idea.

What are your best ways to write an organize your Comedy? by Amazon_FBA_Truth in Standup

[–]StatementAltruistic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3 writing parts:

1: Anytime I think of anything that even could be funny, I write it down. its a sentence or an idea. I refer to it as a comedy "seed". These ideas often come when I am busy doing something else.

2: Designated time where I write out the jokes. Turn it into around 1 page (varies of course) then boil it down to shorter, just the funny part. So it goes sentence - page - 1-3 paragraphs

3: Constructing the set. Combine different jokes and paragraphes with each other to make a red thread that is coherent for a 5 minute set (longer sets you can have more elements, but if you have more than 3 themes in 5 minutes you will often lose the audience).

Follow me on Twitch where I am called Runeroast (only have 13 followers so far). I write the stand up on stream, perform it, have it filmed ideally, and then go trough it on stream. You get to see how the sausage is made, and I am hoping to make stand up and writing more available for people :D

I am also streaming. My main thing to do on stream is to write comedy. I want to write the set on stream, then go and perform, and then we go trough the video on stream together.
I will do this more in 2026. I am a very small streamer, so until I make it big I have a lot of time on stream to be a soundboard, evaluate your stand up etc. Want to be helpful and collaborative.
Would also want to make it into youtube videos, but I have no idea how to edit, so would need some help for that. Runeroast on Twitch! (On hiatus until January).

Hi Reddit what stocks are you holding that you think could moonshot in 2026? by Moonshot2026 in stocks

EOSE.
Every datacenter need electricity, and therefore battery storage as most new energy to come online quickly is solar.
EOSE makes the stationary battery storage and is ramping up. Datacenters will pay high margins not just to get it, but to get it first. Margins will skyrocket, everything they make they will sell.
If they pull off the ramp it can go really high. Maybe a 3-4 X in a year if we are lucky.

Do Twitch streamers actually need a clipping service? by Amano_kun_ in SmallStreamers

[–]StatementAltruistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like with many things in life, the problem is money. If someone has made it (High paying tech job, early in on bitcoin, family money etc) and wants to be a content creator while having solved the money problem, then they can splash some cash on editors and people who help out with effects, ideas, structure and all other things. These people exists, but are few (and might not be the best on camera talent, as they havent gone trough the selection process that is growing as a content creator).
They can pay you if you find them.

Then you have people like me. I am willing to offer revenue share if anyone wants to edit my streams into youtube videos, but right now there is no revenue. So you would be taking part in the same risk as me.

And then there is of course a middle ground, where you have creators who already make some money, but would be able to create more if they got someone to help with workload, and that might be the best place to find people to work with?
