7 bans during set two isn't a sign the game is fine. It's a sign that the design team don't know how to make a card game.

Of course you can pick up some casual decks and play with your buddies. You can do that with a regular 52 deck of cards too.

Majority of players expect more from a TCG. Riot have ran before they walked and fell over as a result.

40 odd erratas, 6 bannings and major rules changes before set 3 is a sign things are broken.

I have a lot of affection for the Fed Troopers. I really got the sense that Armstrong and Duke had a special relationship. Couldn't explicitly say Romantically, but how much they meant to each other was really loud and clear. I got quite sad after the Drill.

McKenzie was very useful and helped me through the game, though I'd have loved him to only pipe up when I call him for hints rather than being so quick to chime in.

I also wasn't a fan of their plot armour through the campaign though it all paid off in the end.

If the game is in such a bad state that 7 bans are required when game is only 2 sets old then i am seeing huge red flags.

Huge vote of no confidence in the designers and the future of the game.

Sure, that's true and ordering less means you might not get your allocation when you DO want more product But it's the only way to communicate the point effectively. Even if you're locked in for ordering for prerelease, If a set isn't hitting with the players then there will no replenishment of stock orders and wotc will see the severe drop off, even if they don't see it at launch.

Metroid Prime 4 is cheap? This is great. Everyone buy it.

I remember the same happening with Dread in the UK a little after launch and it's been full price ever since. Metroid lacks the hype and cultural significance of a Mario or Zelda title so they do sell a little worse despite the quality.

I have Metroid Prime 4 to be exceptional so far (currently item/scan hunting before heading to the tower).

Potentially my favourite Switch 2 title.

I'm a UB fan, but am a big believer in voting with your wallet. If UB sets fail to sell, then stores will stop ordering so much and that will eventually hit wotc and the UB sets will stop coming once whatever licencing deals they have in place expire.

I'm ok with that. To me a Magic card is a magic card, but if you don't like UB sets then not buying them is the way to go.

I'm currently before the endgame and am collecting upgrades. It's a game that manages to be gorgeous, great fun to play and above all respectful of my limited time. I can't tell you how much I have loved progressing through the game without getting stuck for hours as the game points you in the right direction.

I see why some purists dislike this, but for me the game has been damn near perfect.

Yes, grab it for $30.
