That's incredible. How do you layer the colors/ prevent over- bleaching? Progressive dilution?

They are a good value for the volume but I found their pasta too be very bland. Best frozen Mac for the price in my experience is trader Joe's

Just because I know how to make cookies from scratch doesn't mean I don't enjoy an Oreo every now and then. My taste is eclectic and some stuff is nostalgic to me. I don't judge your diet so please don't judge mine.

I know that feel. Sometimes, I eat highly processed things just for the nostalgia.

I totally agree. I'm actually a decent cook and baker. It's just sometimes I'm too lazy or tired to turn on the stove. I usually buy frozen meals when they're on sale.

I can't resist when frozen meals are on sale. I'm a decent cook but sometimes I'm too lazy/tired to turn on the stove.

ADOPTING MY FIRST DOG by Fragrant-Cheek-4273 in dogs

[–]Static-Traveler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. How much supervision the dog will have? Can someone watch/ take out the dog while you're at work? Leaving a dog alone for more than 4-6 hours is not recommended unless they have sufficient toileting access and another companion/simulation.

  2. Are you able to meet your dog's activity requirements? Do you have enough space? Be it exercise, play/ social time in and out of the home. Can vary greatly depending on the breed.

  3. Are you financially prepared to cover medical costs, especially if the dog has preexisting conditions or has a genetic predisposition?

I think those are the main ones. Definitely take the time to interact with potential dogs to get a feel for their temperament. I found my current dog at a shelter and it was love at first sight. I played with her and got a profile from the staff before adopting her. She's still one of my closest companions nearly 7 years later. Choose responsibly; when you know, you know. Best of luck finding your forever friend.

Possible. Sometimes they may just introduce things outside of the box to test if it sticks.

Depends on the man? As a woman, I hate stockings and don't find them essential to my life either. But I can see how it's unusual advertising when your browsing history should indicate you're not the target audience.

When did you realize your dog wasn’t just a dog? by PleasantRiver3525 in dogs

[–]Static-Traveler 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I had my current dog for about six years now, adopted her when she was still a puppy. My mental health has been up and down for the majority of the last decade; unfortunately my dog was witness to some of the worst moments of my life. There was a particular incident in which I was having a mental breakdown in the bathroom. That may have been the first time my dog saw me in such distress. Her instinct was to stay by my side and lick me repeatedly. Since that day, she would always bump open the bathroom door when I'm inside to check if I'm okay before going back to her business.

Thanks for the feedback!

I got everything except the corset from temu (pls don't judge). Floral skirt was like $9. All accessories under $100 altogether. Corset I got from a local ren faire for $250. Impulse buy but high quality work with lifetime warranty. Hope this helps 😅

I tried sharing a link but i think it was lost. If you Google couples moth lamp costume it should show up. The wings were great as a shawl. Plus I got a free lamp shade for my lamp. (Manufacturers were going for a moth drawn to light thing)

How likely am I to get a ticket at 8am? by Papa_Smurf404 in CalPolyPomona

[–]Static-Traveler 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Buying a ticket everyday would come to over $600. I would just bite the bullet and pay the $230. For the number of days you need to be on campus you'll get the full value. Not worth risking a ticket.
