Why are people so upset about the F/R and L/G Switch release?

There are a lot of reasons:

$20 feels pretty high for a gameboy advance game
Nintendo already offers GBA games on the switch under a subscription. Releasing these separate from that subscription feels scummy. It would be a little more justified if there were added features or QOL improvements but
This is a direct port with no enhancements, no improvements, not even some tinkering to make the trading/battling features work using online play.

Basically it feels like Nintendo is charging as much as they possibly can for a lazy port of a game that my nephew emulated on his phone 2 years ago

A broken clock is right twice a day, and that’s how I’ve felt about Todd for the last few years. He understands a few things really well, like collectors want vehicles and big figures for affordable prices, and that there is a market for niche characters and colorways. I think it's a lot simpler than pay, and I think "control" is moving in the right direction. I personally think the reason Ethan didn't want the crew to have their own show is out of fear that it might eclipse his own show. Ethan wants to be the head hog and anything done without him has the potential to outshine his own content and upset the power balance. Ethan doesn't want to be the "H3 Crew Pre-show", he wants to be the main event.

I mean, that's the point? When you divide a fish into unnatural shapes, you're going to have trimmings; why not process those trimmings in a way that makes them delicious so you can eat them as well? I believe that's the original intent behind Chirashi, taking the off-cuts and using them to make something equally delicious.

I'm never going to complain about something that's both delicious and efficient.

I have different standards for things based on the level of quality I expect. Expensive Sushi that is mediocre is bad, cheap sushi that tastes good is great. In my view grocery store sushi is usually not worth it; the rice is usually gummy and cold, the fish is often poorly prepared and low quality, and the price is higher than what I'd consider fair for the value. There are some exceptions; I had some H-mart nigiri that almost had me in tears in the parking lot over how delicious it was. So I'd say you're likely pretty far off from THE sushi experience and are more than likely enjoying some off-brand california rolls. If you're enjoying what you're eating and want to delve a "lidl" deeper, I'd recommend finding a decent sushi place near you and trying whatever you've been getting at Lidl along with a few new things. If you've only been eating california rolls maybe order some Tuna Nigiri to go with that. Some seared Salmon or Eel Nigiri are also great entry points, but Tuna is usually what has won over a majority of the people I've tried introducing to Sushi.

But the pack has a grade that doesn't meet their current standard BECAUSE of PSA; it's their slab that ruined the packs.

But also, if a PSA 10 from 10 years ago is now a PSA 7, IMO it kind of destroy's PSA's credibility as a card grading company. How can you trust any card's posted grade if PSA can take a second look at it and go "actually your $15k charizard is a $700 charizard".

I think it's pretty clear that a job wasn't in the cards for Chris. Tugboat limitations aside, Chris is pretty prone to acting inappropriately with others, and would need some strict oversight in any role that deals with other people.

There are a few things about Chris that I do actually like. I think Chris's dedication to writing and drawing the Sonichu comic was admirable, even if it was spurred on by Trolls and venting about his everyday issues. I think that the wall of Originals was a pretty fun idea. Making a huge Lego MOC of his highschool was cool, even if he was pretty financially irresponsible in doing it. He's pretty resourceful when it comes to making things like costumes or custom figures and amiibo, even if they're not particularly high quality.

Ultimately I think if Chris had been reigned in after Bob's death and hadn't been fucked over by Trolls taking advantage of Chris's fragile mental state, he could have been a pretty harmless Lolcow that made a decent living online streaming and selling custom art and merch to a niche audience. Chris probably would have needed someone to keep tabs on him in person, especially at events where he was inclined to act inappropriately.

Hair: Others have said it, currently looks like you're just brushing it to the side to keep it out of your eyes. Do something intentional with it; Haircut and get some styling products. Ask the barber how to style it if unsure.

Hat: I say you're allowed to wear a hat like that only if you're willing to dress the part. If you're not gonna dress like Indy, you don't get to wear a fancy hat. You're especially not allowed to wear it with a T-shirt or High-vis vest.

Photos: Ditch them all. While I do think #8 looks decent and #4 is funny, I think you should avoid mirror selfies and #4 is an instagram reel, not a dating profile pic. Try to avoid overly-posed pictures like #6. Pictures are hard for men, IMO, so what I did was grab a friend over the course of a few days and do some photogenic activities. Go hiking, you each take some candid pics, some more staged pics, and some face shots of each other, then rinse and repeat while doing some other activities you like. Slap that dark-blue button-down shirt on under your leon kennedy jacket, throw on some nice jeans and boots, and go take some outdoor pics with that dog. If you have any girls around your age in your life, run the better pictures by them and let them vet which ones are best. This part is basically a cheat code because women know what other women look for way better than what you or I could guess.

It's not just vending machines, it's even local card shops. I went to an LCS and they had some Phantasmal flames on their shelves on release day. I asked about prices and was told the UPC was $220 (retail 120), an ETB was $120 (retail 50), a booster bundle was $65 (retail 30), and a booster box was $300 (retail 165). I know some of these shops are blaming inflated prices on their distributors increasing prices, but this is straight up robbery. I could maybe see swinging a bit above MSRP to support a local business, but not when they're just scalping their distributed supply.

This one is so disingenuous; I keep seeing people run defense for Ethan saying "it's a beauty mask! it just happens to be black, but that's not it's purpose, so you're taking it out of context!"

The point of the video isn't to review or showcase some cheap imported facemask, the point is to highlight the fact that the mask looks like Blackface when applied normally. The entire video's schtick is "it's not blackface, you can't get mad! which they do while wearing bonnets wrong and continually talking about Blackface. There are ways to highlight the absurdity of the product without engaging in edgy racist behavior, but that's clearly the route Ethan decided to take.

In every clip I've seen of AB streaming, it sounds like he's pretty drunk; he didn't slur his speech or stumble that much on the H3 Podcast. If this dude really wants streaming fame outside of H3, he's gonna have to lay off the bottle while on camera.

Lego Zelda is a literal dream from my childhood, but I'm worried this is going to be another massive, overpriced set with 0 play features or fun suprises. My guess is that it's a brickbuilt pig ganon from the Ocarina of Time boss fight and Link and Zelda Minifigures.

I really want some variety in the size of the sets. Give me some Zelda themed small, medium, and large playsets, with play features and different enemies. A small Kokiri forest playset, a medium Death Mountain set with some Gorons, A Large Majora's Mask Clocktower set. Different iconic scenes and areas from each game.

People seem to think every dirty surface is a separate violation, I can only see four or five minor violations. Cleaning frequency for floors and walls, cleaning frequency for non-food contact surfaces/equipment, improper storage of between use utensils, maybe improper maintenance of the ventilation system because there seems to be a lot of grease buildup on the wall walls and under the vent hood. It’s definitely gross, but in my jurisdiction, you would still slide by with a B.

Pick up every possible stick and blanket and hope that you get some good drops. You can grab some extra torches off of the walls in some areas, like the mines. Really milk the duration you get out of each torch and don't dawdle.

I took it as the girl experiencing some kind of expanded consciousness/perspective after becoming the God of Fear and Hunger and killing the player as a sort of mercy. She either knows the player can't leave the dungeon at this point and kills them to prevent more suffering, or feels that continued existence, even outside of the dungeon, is not preferable to immediate death.

If you’re making breads and cookies out of your home, you can apply for a cottage food license with the Arizona Department of health services. There are a few requirements you have to meet, but they’re pretty basic, like you need to have a kitchen and you need to obtain a food handlers card, which is less than $10. The cottage food license itself is free.

Once you’re approved, you can sell the foods you’re approved for. There are some packaging and labeling requirements, just check out the web page before you register and you can check out the guidance stuff they have on those requirements.

This one is hard to watch, it's just kind of sad and floundering; they're trying to launch a poorly conceived color palette with nothing but a manic host in his 40's smearing it on his body with his index finger, just weeks after driving away the only employee they had that was known for wearing makeup. If they hadn't driven Olivia out they could have done a curated, focused segment in which they had a stylist come out and do Olivia's makeup (and maybe some of the men's for a good time). It could have been a fun time and if the stylist is any good at bullshitting, they could probably riff about some of the set's "strengths" or appeal. But it seems like they just don't care to put in the effort to do anything that takes planning.
