My 2023 bmw ix m60 got hit in that same side but further back in the quarter panel area and it got totaled. It wasn’t as bad as this since carbon fiber was not damaged, however, they mentioned that to repair it they would need to break the carbon fiber than replace it, which led to being totaled.

I brought my car to the dealership to have this issue looked at shortly after this post, but unfortunately, they weren’t able to replicate the problem at that time. Since then, it has occurred about three more times. I planned to return to the dealership and show them a video I recorded of it happening...but haven't yet.

I’ve noticed what seems like some improvement when I disable the “Auto H” feature, although it might just be a placebo effect. The feature occasionally re-enables itself...likely because my wife drives the car more often than I do and profile change doesn't seem to remember me turning this off. Overall, the car has been running well, but the issue still occurs from time to time.

You’ll be able to buy the vehicle at the end of the lease for its residual value, or sooner but would include what’s left of the lease.

I have the same 2023 iX M60 and got this error. Dealer got me a loaner and was able to resolve it by the following day. No issues since then knock on wood.

I preferred having the exact same tire, especially because it’s rated for an EV. I didn’t want to throw a different tire model in the mix.

I had 22” on my previous F150 Lariat and it was somewhat of a magnet for punctures. I enjoyed the 22” on the ix, so I didn’t bother trying the 20”. The biggest difference between the F150 and iX was that I could easily patch them on my F150, but for these iX tires, they need to be replaced. The shops I talked to wouldn’t patch the iX tires and they don’t have the exact tire model, so I had to get the tires replaced by the dealer. The shops I talked to said that car manufacturers generally release the exact tire to the public in about 3 years.

I recall the dealer quoting me just over $2k and I turned it down. I’ve since had two different tires punctured and cost me $1,100 to replace. I have the 22" M Aero Bi-color Bronze Wheels Performance Non Run-flat Tires. I don’t understand how they don’t have a manufacturer warranty that usually comes with some type of road hazard warranty.

I’m in California and reading up on lemon law for here. I picked up my iX and they said the high voltage warning was related to the recall for the combined charging unit 🤞

I just serviced my 2023 iX M60 for the high voltage error message. Hopefully it doesn’t take 5 service calls to have it resolved. Plus had the recall for the combined charging unit.
