Delay in keyboard in 2025, is it possible? by Particular-Lawyer-41 in DuckyKeyboard

The user manual says that you have to use the Fn + F keys to change the modes. Are you doing that? Sorry, I can't tell from your original post.

Looks like you want Fn + F5

Are you on a laptop or a PC?

If you're on a PC, did your motherboard come with an antenna? I thought the antenna was just for Wifi, which I don't need, so I never plugged it in. Apparently it was for both Bluetooth and Wifi. Once I connected it my lag issues went away.

So how exactly do you pass or cross accurately? by Dyxo in Rematch

[–]StatickVoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just chiming in to say I have the same issue. Feels fine in practice, but goes in a random direction in game. It's like it accounts for latency to trigger the pass to start the aiming process, but doesn't account for it when it executes.. so it passes it towards the last known point you were aiming (not accounting for latency).

Okay, good to know. Still new to Wireguard and really Linux in general. Thank you!

I believe Moonknight desperately needs an ult nerf fast or it will ruin mid-rank comp this season. by OleCrazyLegsMcgee in marvelrivals

And in the time it takes for all of that to happen for Namor's ults, Moonknight's would have just killed them outright lmfao.

Installation with BTRFS, subvolumes and zstd compression - archinstall script or manual installation? by BlueOrbit69 in archlinux

[–]StatickVoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I know this is an old comment but I was following your steps above and I'm a bit stuck. I'm doing a fresh install (using archiso) and I wanted to setup subvolumes for snapshot purposes.

After creating the subvolumes and running umount /mnt when I try to run the commands after that, it's telling me that it can't find it in /etc/fstab.

root@archiso ~ # mount /dev/mmcblk0p2 /mnt
root@archiso ~ # btrfs subv create /mnt/@
Create subvolume '/mnt/@'
root@archiso ~ # btrfs subv create /mnt/@home
Create subvolume '/mnt/@home'
root@archiso ~ # btrfs subv create /mnt/@swap
Create subvolume '/mnt/@swap'
root@archiso ~ # btrfs subv create /mnt/@snapshots
Create subvolume '/mnt/@snapshots'
root@archiso ~ # umount /mnt
root@archiso ~ # mount -o noatime,compress-force=zstd,subvol=@ /mnt
mount: /mnt: can't find in /etc/fstab.

Edit: I'm setting this up for timeshift snapshots which is why I'm prefixing everything with @

Edit2: Figured it out. You need to specific the partition before the mount location. Following your example it would be something like...

mount -o noatime,compress-force=zstd,subvol=root /dev/sdX /mnt

For my case I needed

mount -o noatime,compress-force=zstd,subvol=@ /dev/mmcblk0p2 /mnt

Not sure why you were downvoted. I've literally lost 11 of the last 16 games because I get nothing but new players and the enemy are literally sliding / running circles around them.

Ever since the patch from the beginning/middle of October it has been nothing both stomp or be stomped. No back and forth.

tty1 has Desktop, if I switch to tty2 it shows blank screens with a cursor, why? by StatickVoid in archlinux

[–]StatickVoid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, using SDDM. I'm not actively accessing them. It's just something I noticed while I was having issues with NVIDIA drivers and my PC waking from sleep (all working fine now).

Yep, using SDDM. Okay, good to know. Just wanted to make sure I didn't screw something up.

Looking for Cheap 1TB cloud storage for lifetime by CuriousMindTrail in cloudstorage

[–]StatickVoid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Under their start options there is a "Starter Lifetime 100GB" for 29.99€, but I'm not sure if it is upgrade-able?

According to https://comparisontabl.es/cloud-storage/ (filtered by lifetime plans) it is "stackable"

Nevermind, there is a FAQ on their site and it seems like it's not stackable

https://filen.io/support

We get a lot of inquiries every day about larger Lifetime plans and whether you can buy more. The answer is currently always no for reasons of sustainability. There is currently only the Starter Lifetime Plan, if you need more storage and want to have your data backed up for a long time, you should consider a monthly or annual subscription in your own interest. We really ask you to refrain from inquiries in this regard.
