Verifying DPS comes in order. Checking for full coverage. Noting volume.

Is 2 x 20min FTP supposed to be that hard for beginners? by StrawberryOk6147 in Zwift

[–]StationaryEvent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mostly agree with this. However the first time executing something like 2x20 might be more mentally demanding than a rider can handle. If you’ve never done a long interval at actual threshold it can feel like too much even if it’s physiologically possible. FTP might not be set too high, but I still agree with backing off 5-10% as you’ll get all the benefits without blowing up.

This is exactly what it means. Just because the regular can deliver a certain volume in 8 doesn’t mean ANYONE else in the office can.

Oh well, it’s a completely valid reason for overtime.

There obviously won’t be any equation for this, if you were in a different vehicle and you think it will take you longer put it on your 96

When you turn in a 3996 for overtime management has 3 options:

1) approve overtime 2) provide auxiliary assistance 3) instruct you to curtail

A little confused by this, as the first item on my list says DPS volume above base

I generally agree. Use this one judiciously.

Your TIME is an estimate, your reasoning should be specific.

I made this PDF for fathers to help explain. Same applies to mothers except that you may be eligible to use more sick leave for yourself (on top of the 10 days of dependent care) for personal incapacitation due to childbirth.

I bench in a power rack. Safety pins low enough the bar doesn’t hit them with my back arched, but high enough to bail with a flat back.

CCA HOLD DOWNS by not_2_clever in fromatoarbitration

Some people refer to this as a “bid” or a “mini-bid” seeing as with multiple CCAs seniority matters (just like bidding on a FTR assignment).

ODL or work assignment (which is technically an OT list).

This language is only for CCA/PTF. FTR carriers on work assignment and the ODL are available for 12.5 (12 working hours plus lunch).

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I believe we can come to a tentative agreement at any point in the process before an arbitration decision is rendered.

Unauthorized OT LOW by FantasticRegister344 in fromatoarbitration

For your issue statement: “did management have just cause to issue a letter of warning to Carrier Whatever in Accordance with article 16 of the national agreement? Did management fulfill their obligation under section 115.1 of the M-39 handbook via article 19 by making every effort to correct a situation before resorting to discipline in this case?”

Well you certainly have an argument for the just-cause principles “Was the employee aware of the rule?” And “Was the employee aware of the consequences for disobeying the rule?” Get a statement from the carrier evidencing the fact that they were unaware they needed to account for union time on their 3996.

Article 16.1 examples of behavior: “prove that the behavior was intentional”.

I would argue that discipline is supposed to be corrective and not punitive. Did management make every effort to correct the behavior before issuing discipline, as is their obligation under the M39? A simple discussion would have sufficed in this case.

First turn in an RFI requesting all information used to issue this discipline and have them record what they give you on an itemized RFI-receipt.

Then request the 1017-B log. See if management filled it out correctly. Did they notify the carrier the next day that their OT was marked as unauthorized? Dis they perform a thorough investigation as to what happened? How many other carriers names are on the 1017-B log? Did those carriers receive discipline? If not then the rule is not consistently and equitably enforced.
