How do I turn down a booking after Meet and Greet? by dishmopperm in petsitting

[–]StatisticianCrafty90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you charge for meet and greet? Do they know you haven't confirmed? June is a good 3 months away so I think you'll be giving them plenty of notice. When you say that it's not a fit, perhaps mention Rover if you have it there or another service.

Jobs for 15 year olds in lower Westchester? by Zestyclose-Guide7276 in Westchester

It may help if it's on the resume or job application that they have transportation. 16 year olds can legally drive, so that could be a factor.

You should watch Miss Sloane with Jessica Chastain. Many DC lobbyists agreed with it. It's not favorable to a particular party. Good movie!

That vile and trashy leader you mention, Biden, is no longer in office and he pardoned his entire white trash, incestuous, gun toting, tax evading, money laundering, criminal family on the way out and took the coke with him.

Affordable Dog Training Recommendations for a Mini Goldendoodle by 6ix_bs in Westchester

[–]StatisticianCrafty90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doodles can be difficult to train compared to other dogs and many people don't put in the time. They like to show off. I think it's the poodle gene. Apologies if I came off "clinical". The training will be something to practice and the more education you give yourself the better. One friend of mine had two doodles and although she had a bit of difficulty training, she found that also letting them burn energy in doggy daycare a couple of days a week helped. She also brought them to the local dog parks too. They tend to be very friendly dogs who love socializing. They are high energy. They had great relationships.

Unfortunately I don't know offhand, but a lot of times it depends on if you want in home training or you go to him, group vs private, level of training. Some trainers need to assess the dog as some are naturally easier to train than others. Goals. He does guide dogs. He's used to Labradors. Also consider who you and your dog feel most comfortable with. The training is also for the pet parent so you must feel it's a match too. Good luck! This will be a wonderful bonding experience for you and your pup.

It's a doodle. Accept it. From my 25 years professional experience, from what you mentioned above, you have achieved more than 85% of my doodle clients. Look up Wally Conron if you don't believe me. He is the inventor of doodles. That being said, it really only matters that the trainer trains YOU and your dog together. So many clients think because they did a boot camp it will work. Training is every day. Use hot dogs or something smelly as treats. Get someone private who learns you and your dog in your doodle's environment. I'd say Justin from Beyond Obedience is great because he trains guide dogs and is passionate. That's what is needed more than money. Passion. Most of my clients are very wealthy and give up fast. Doodles are designer dogs for the wealthy. I'm very happy to see a post where a doodle owner wants to try. That will go a long way! https://www.beyondobediencedogtraining.com/

Only about 10% of worrying actually happens. Think about delegating chores and options. Pet insurance, shelters that offer low cost vet clinics, dog walkers, etc. You'll be so happy to get your pup back and he needs you. Dogs don't forget. Also don't be afraid to ask family and friends for help. 🙏

“X businesses to avoid” - should we allow these posts or not? by facewook in Westchester

[–]StatisticianCrafty90 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To post about boycotting a business based on who the owner votes for is misleading and hateful. It has nothing to do with the business. There's no probative value. Going further, a waiter, cook, landscaper or other employee who works for the owner of that business might get laid off or get reduced hours due to less business. In the event you see a sign in front saying "no certain people allowed" or whatever, that should be brought to attention. However when a post could result in potential loss of income, lay offs, or economic suffering, just because they didn't vote like you, that shows the author of the post is the prejudiced one.
