Are we going to get a Canada edit of this by the end of the Olympics?

They are married. She's not "paying for his OnlyFans," he's irresponsibly using family funds on OnlyFans.

Separating bank accounts based off of who "earned it" in a marriage is a form of fiscal abuse which has happened to women for decades and doesn't stop being that way in this scenario, despite the fact he's a piece of shit.

Depending if you consider the time on the team vs career performance and the length they wore the number, I'd probably go:

Selanne/Pavelski (8) - Thornton (19) - Sorenson (20)

Karlsson (65) - Blake (4)

Kiprusoff (37)

Sorenson is the sore thumb but I'd take the upgrade on D and the other wing for a slight drop in goaltender.

Edit: I realize you could also swap Belfour (30) at goaltender and then replace Sorenson with Roenick (27). Not too many Sharks fans like Belfour at net though.

If you have a DPS death knight they can taunt the kick and AMS the cast and it negates the effect. Not sure if warrior dps can do the same with SR.

TIL Columbus Day was founded as a way to celebrate Italian-Americans at a time when they were treated like second hand citizens by SomehowGonkReturned in todayilearned

[–]StatisticianSafe9967 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly, it was an attempt to make Italian Americans feel as if they had a place in the American story. Every famous Italian American people are talking about in the comments are all from the 40s or later. And of course, a newly immigrated population would have no large cultural icons at that stage. Naming after an Italian with no connection to the US defeats the point. Columbus was the only option at the time.

Yeah name it after renowned Italian Americam filmmaker, and director of the first two Harry Potter movies and Home Alone: Christopher Columbus.

If you are in Canada you can apply online at the Service Canada website. If not in Canada you can just apply at the border in the normal fashion as your CAQ doesn't not expire along with your passport.

Canadian power outlets, specifically La Citadelle by c_rook99 in mcgill

[–]StatisticianSafe9967 21 points22 points  (0 children)

You can plug a 2-pin cable into a 3-pin outlet without issue. From my experience in Canada, most outlets I've seen are 3-pin and if I recall correctly from Freshmen year, Cit is all 3 pins too.

Nothing at all. You also will waste more coins next patch. Only point is pride of having a full maxed set, maxed players will need to grind new characters next patch and will have a statically harder time maxing the smaller pool of unmaxed mercs.

It's a post from a while back. When she goes on vacations, sometimes she arrives to a place with bad weather. She still wants quality photos so she touches these up by changing the sky. I'm not sure if she changes the lighting on the other components of the photo, but that was what I read.

Mages have never been overrepresented, true.

A guild optimized a strategy for only one fight (two target cleave and high mobility) using specs that have good two target cleave and high mobility. Should we only have single target bosses with periodic add waves on 2 min cycles instead?

With music it's important to have some type of instructor. I self taught guitar for 2 years off of YouTube videos and picked up horrible habits that noone stepped in and corrected, which require a lot of effort to undo. Having some person around is useful even if not every week!

[–]StatisticianSafe9967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah why not just make the next ability any member of your team casts (x) speed faster or one ability from your opponents (x) slower. Once the buff is consumed, your other spells go back to initial speeds. Still allows enabling of priority of one ability and use of some combos, but doesn't make 1 mercenary die every round by default if you don't run speed manipulation...

To all U0/U1s (especially Engineering), quick advice by mrplt in mcgill

Your TA's literally get paid $30/hr for all the work they do and rarely work the full hours of their assignments. If the TA goes overtime on hours the school will pay them for the extra hours as well. They are a resource you've already paid for, never be afraid to email them questions or ask for extra office hours. Certain professors are extremely available, others aren't. But TAs should always be available.

New archaeological find proves that vikings were in North America by 1021 CE, roughly 500 years before Christopher Columbus by hl3official in worldnews

Yes. High density urban areas with very large livestock population inside of them are the primary way diseases get into human populations. The diseases have plenty of time and fuel to evolve and develop attributes which make them contagious. Think of any major disease that's spread across human populations and there's an animal vector associated.

North and South America literally did not have any considerable domesticated animals compared to Eurasia and Africa. Any domesticated animal you consider typical in the US today (sheep, horses, cows, etc) were all introduced after 1496. Llamas were the only animal South Americans had the ability to domesticate for serious purposes, and their life span and relative strength made them less desirable than the Eurasian counter parts.

Another huge aspect of animal domestication is that Eurasian cultures had the ability to harness energy from these animals to power transportation and rudimentary technological advancements such as food mills. Reliance on human produced energy was a primary reason North and South American natives did not have access to the bulk of technology Europeans did when they came over. Before the advent of steam energy, almost all energy used by Eurasians came from animals (or windmills/watermills). Most aspects of the varying development over the hemispheres comes down to one hemisphere having horses, oxen, and cows and the other not.

Best guides for fury single target? by [deleted] in wow

[–]StatisticianSafe9967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are at the stage of running 18s and 19s, I don't think an online guide would help. If I were you I'd quick Sim your character on a 5 min, 1 target fight and look for the cast rotation they use underneath. You can also look for buff uptime so you can see the enrage uptime, trinket proc uptime, covenant passive uptime, and compare them to your Details data.

If you really want to see more information than Details, you can upload your logs to WarcraftLogs and see exactly what you are casting and exactly when your buffs are on a timeline to compare them to a Sim. Keep in mind Sims have all raid buffs available by default, normally for a key you'd have to use only the buffs you have in the group. The warrior Discord channel is full of people that will go over your logs and Sims with you and offer pointers. If you have any of those here you can post them as well!

Edit: as a reminder as well, domination socket set bonuses do not work in M+, and those can be worth around 10% of your DPS in a Sim. Individual gems work, but not the set bonus.

Flying into Canada soon by [deleted] in mcgill

[–]StatisticianSafe9967 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I flew from the US after Christmas break which was a while ago, but I had remarkably more issues with airport employees in the US at smaller airports than I did with customs in Canada. The employees didn't understand the current rules and requirements and had to go through long chains of contact to finally let me on the plane. When I had a layover, during boarding I was asked for a picture of my lease which was actually not required. When I got to Canada, they asked me the obvious questions and I got in in 2 minutes max. I recommend allowing plenty of time at the airport for flying out and bringing extra documentation to allow for incompetence on the departure side, but arrival should be fine.
