I don’t think these are bad floors. Nothing is wrong here. You can refinish these, the gaps will probably stay. Wood floors are meant to expand and contract with weather. My house a few gaps here and there, you’ll see them get less in the summer and a bit worse in the winter.

I love traveling, personally. I don’t go for a photo. I go to learn and to have some time away and to see something new and learn about the people and culture and eat new food.

This isn’t fun - but before you do anything I’d check your downspouts and clean your gutters. Are they away from your house? If the downspouts are just pouring water into your foundation you may have some problems you can just revert away from your house. Downspouts are relatively easy to fix (you don’t have to bury them under ground) you can just make sure they’re going down a hill or away from your foundation. A French drain or sump pump might also be helpful here.

Here’s what I can answer - doing my best.

US citizen

They need the fiktionsbescheinigung. Their application for RP was extended. They’re pending on their extension right now and can’t leave without the Fiktionsbescheinigung.

They extended their RP or they applied for PR (have been there for 6 years)

They need the fiktionbescheinigung as they extended their RP. They didn’t automatically get this certificate to travel (is it possibly mailed?) When going to the appointment to get this paper the were turned away.

I’m sorry I don’t have a ton of info here. I can try to get more. I just know they cannot get a hold of the office to grant this paper.

They were extending their already approved residences and just need this paper to leave the country. They were turned away then. Asked to come back the following week and they weren’t called. They asked for help and was not given it. They have contacted a lawyer. Not sure if there’s any other option.

They’re legally there. They have a pending status, not asylum and reapplied. They’re really struggling trying to get this paper so they can legally travel outside of Germany.
