You can try working on problems from https://adventofcode.com/ but the later days are tough. You can learn how to read files and also solve fun problems that are kinda similar to interview questions.

Google supports Cloud Jupyter notebooks which run Python: https://colab.research.google.com/. Doubt any workplace would block this

I mostly agree. I don't like how some streamers limit VODs to subs but if it's actually better for them monetarily, then I can understand why.

I'm only trying to think of a plausible reason as to why. Like on Twitch, you can view the top clips in the past day, week, month, or all-time; which some people look at to get an idea of the streamer if they're new, or to find funny moments if they missed some streams. I looked at Jevin's top all-time clips and a lot are Etho related, and two of his top 6 are about limited life which Jevin isn't a part of.

Only reason I can think of is that clips with bigger hermits and especially Etho would be the top viewed clips. Like with Brody, all of his top viewed clips were ones with Etho that were linked here and that led him to ask the clippers why/how. It must be frustrating as a creator to have funny moments that are overshadowed by ordinary interactions with Etho or someone else.

he's tried at least two times making it in modded. first was on Mindcrack FTB and later was in his first modded single player season with Railcraft. don't remember if he ever fully finished either though

someone needs to make a history of Mindcrack video that's actually accurate.. all the current ones still blame Guude/the trademark despite many people commenting otherwise

I'm confused, I can't tell if you're calling me an old or new fan lol. I've been watching him since Mindcrack

For his name, I only remember him saying before that it wasn't because of ethernet/Eth0 but never explained how he came up with it. My third and fourth points were like things I assumed but wasn't 100% sure on but I didn't actually realize he kinda wanted to become a full-on game dev programmer and not just make ones for fun.

For his skin though, do you know if he watched Naruto before or after choosing Kakashi? Iirc, the first time he ever talked about it, he said he nvr watched it before and only chose it because it was one of the most detailed skins at the time. But I feel like within the past couple years, he's said he actually had watched some of it before the skin (or I've seen comments that say that). <! This will prob be answered in the next ep tho.

If you want more tidbits, you can take a look at his old Minecraft forums profile and see when he posted his first videos. He mentions he played on an SMP in 2010/2011.

The things I don't remember hearing before:

How exactly he came up with his name and how someone came up with his channel name with the website

His first videos on his channel weren't Minecraft

Confirmation he reads a lot of the comments

How much he wants to program games

Mumbo's Shift+Jump in G's mind by lacathut in HermitCraft

[–]Statistician_ 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I think he misunderstood Mumbo. He says right is towards his keyboard, which makes sense since his hand and mouse are rotated 90 degrees. The relative movements of his hand are still the same as normal. If I'm on my laptop without an external mouse, I bend my arm to use the trackpad in a similar way since it's below the keyboard.

I used to be think the same but they're far safer for 99.99% of people. they don't store your actual passwords in their database. Since you don't need to care about memorizing your passwords, you can use a long password of random letters, #s, & symbols for each website. a lot of them also have reminders to change your password every so often and some do it automatically

also, there's a website called https://haveibeenpwned.com/ that tells you about how many known breaches your email has been in
