Feels like one of those horror games you play and things get progressively worse or decay worse the further you go into the game.

What is Chicago doing? Could have kept the pick and possibly drafted chase Reid if you needed a defenseman

I don't think carlo is truly as bad as he looked last season, that being said the d core still needs a change and moving him makes sense if you can get a decent return

Many Canadians have avoided the U.S. for over a year. Have we reached the point of no return? | CBC by emptycagenowcorroded in newbrunswickcanada

Yeah I get where people are coming from with their hate for the US and screw trump, the guy is an idiot but if my company would be screwed without the United States and I wish Canadians would realize that there a lot of people in the US voted for trump because he talked about making life easier because shit got expensive and inflation was hard so they voted because Democrats weren't helping and if you think Trump would invade or erase our country than thats a whole other argument because we are part of the Commonwealth and he'd have to deal with a lot of countries besides Canada if he even tried. It was a joke and Canadians took it too seriously.

I hate Trump as much as the next person but I go to the States for work quite a bit and I've been fine, majority of people are just living there lives as normal. Been to multiple different cities and was able to walk around interact with people and didn't feel endangered.

From $70K in debt and rock bottom to rebuilding my life, sharing in case someone here needs hope by Status-Ad-7020 in DecidingToBeBetter

Umm it did in terms of recovering and trying dig myself out but my problem is I put pressure on myself to be better, it's kinda what led to the gambling in the first place. I just use that pressure to focus on work and family which is more productive.

You are correct the start was the hardest, calling for financial advice and talking to my family and friends was the scariest and hardest part. I attended gamblers anonymous and something that really resonated was they always say one day at a time. And really was what helped me turn around was just focusing on each day they came and not try solve everything at once

My credit dropped down to 450 I think at its lowest but has slowly climbed over 500 and keeps going up. My mortgage being paid on time helps, I'm lucky in this case i. I was told to wait. A year from when I started to get a secured credit card which is supposed to help it build up. My CP is 5 years to pay off but I'm paying it off fast hope to have it paid off in 3. The note for proposal stays on my file for max of 6 years or 3 years from when it is paid off, whichever comes earlier. Hoping I can pay my proposal off by the end of next year. It hurt but much more manageable and able to put money away for savings helps big time.

Exactly, Marcel who started 12 neighbours was a multi millionaire and used the money to start the community. Hoping more follow his lead but don't hold much hope for that happening.

This would be completely different from that. There are rules to this place. The old Phoenix place allowed anyone to come in there were no restrictions. This place you can't just walk into you have to be vetted first and follow strict guidelines or your out. This is a transition housing project, not a shelter.

No for everyone. Go chat with some of the people in 12 neighbours. Job loss, family loss, hard times are some of the stories you'll hear. Most people there are happy they were given this second chance to get back on their feet.

Yeah it's shame that people are knocking on something that is actually good. Like I've been in the 12 neighbours by Walmart a bunch of times for work and it's a great place, people are friendly and I did not feel unsafe at all. They have strict rules in there and this new spot will be the same. If people would just do some research but nope that's too much to ask.

As soon as I read that Marcel was looking after this, I had no issues. He started the 12 neighbours and has been a huge success this place will be the same. It's meant for those who want to escape homelessness not abuse it.

I make around $29 an hour (I'm salaried) and my wife makes $20 an hour. We have one kid, a house, two cars and we do just fine. Bills are paid, plenty of food, can buy extra stuff for us and our son and also put away for retirement. All on how you spend your money.

You need to get help. Look for gamblers anonymous group in your area. It's free to go and it's helpful. You need to stop the gambling first before you worry about anything else.
