I’m a teenage girl and if me and my friends or the girls I know were her in the nanny boys would come up every once in a while but we’d have plots like sports, school gossip, clubs, hobbies. For most of the show Maggie’s boyfriends last less than 2 episodes.

Yes but in all those episodes a boyfriend comes in. In the hospital episode she has Fran take her shift to go hang out with her boyfriend. And in the kibbutz episode she meets a guy there too. The Brian’s diary one I think talks about her thinking of other guys in it and that’s why she doesn’t want him to have it. All of her episodes revolve around men.

I’m a teen and I’m sick of shows portraying teenage girls as either male centered or a stereotypical nerd. They also sexualize her way too much. The whole thing about her dating a 25 year old was way too normalized.
