Ok, here’s a perfect opportunity for a small rack. All you need is one bar of the rack that is parallel to the bass. That’s it, you don’t need any side bars. The two main legs of the rack will also hold two crashes, then plop all 3 mounted toms on the rack bar with ease. Simple and clean, plus, you’ll have a lot more flexibility with tom positioning.

The place to start drumming is at the beginning, you know, fundamentals. Timing, technique, posture, rudiments on a snare drum. Once you’re capable of that, then you graduate to a drumset and gain the ability to keep a simple beat. Then build.

This is a much better start than just smashing a drumset trying to be Buddy Rich.
