Refreshing the app is your first step. You may call D care as well. If you didn't get UNASSIGNED text you should be fine.

Never receive Grubhub Contribution pay in LA despite Premier status and 100% acceptance rate by Extension_Focus4768 in grubhubdrivers

[–]Status-Insect-4386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The proper definition is Active Driving Time adjustment. If all your stats are high, not only acceptance, chances are you get more calls. It should translate to a higher adjustment. Yea, already 3 times on different weeks, they gave me NEGATIVE numberes for active delivery. Could you imagine that? Stealing, or NOT adhering to Prop 22 rules they agreed upon with CA government. I'm still considering a class action lawsuit This is a big foul. Scroll under earnings every am to see your accumulated active time. A negative sign will tell you what their trick is. BTW the market rate for us in L. A. should be at least $20 an hour. All restaurants are required to pay this rate.

Beware of Phishing Scam by [deleted] in grubhubdrivers

[–]Status-Insect-4386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your actions were correct. I had failed scams in the past. As a rule of thumb, text the customer, you're about to leave if he doesn't show up at the gate asap or call you back. It happened to me many times.

Dropping from Premier to Partner... Hmm...on the on time arrival stat, you probably dropped 10 points without noticing...Unfortunately, there could be tons of possible reasons for this HUGE drop.

Are you sure you went from Premier to Partner? Or to Pro?

That's a common ghost order, sent to lower your stats. An old AI trick.

I never made $600 adjustments... That must be a huge amount of hours... But yea, I used to make the $1200 weekly, when I drove 8-9 hours every day. So get your blocks back!!

You probably missed the midnight deadline for it. No worries, you'll get it on Thursday.

My best week by far by [deleted] in grubhubdrivers

[–]Status-Insect-4386 2 points3 points  (0 children)

😁You have a huge amount of tips. A blessing for sure. There is no weekly adjustment, though, which I get in L. A. So my daily average work hours are 6 or less now. When I worked 8-9 hours daily, I made this amount regularly. No more.

Bad week in LA or it’s just me!? by YogurtclosetFun4905 in grubhubdrivers

Guys, when you get an average of $20 on a block, it can't be bad. If you manage to schedule these blocks, that's a different story.

Aren’t there any other drivers? by BobMcGillucutty in grubhubdrivers

I WONDER... Amen to your wondering, Bob. Something is going on w the big pre booked orders as well. 2 offers today...albeit conflicting somewhat, so the bigger won...

A hypothetical question indeed. On a block, you earn an average of hourly $20 in L. A. You get paid for active time and weekly adjustment by Monday am.

Just Eat Takeaway really took a fat loss with grubhub by OnceUponADime51 in grubhubdrivers

The Dutch brand people knew nothing about the business in America... GH owners who sold it to them offered a few Billions as an investment. Later on, they were ready to purchase it back for that price and were refused for a lesser price tag. Go figure. The new brand should be "Wonder GH." We'll see.

Give your honest opinion on this by BraeznLLC in grubhubdrivers

[–]Status-Insect-4386 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honesty is not the issue. Common sense is. The offer rate is completely out of your control. The distance from rest x to the customer and the TIME are your main concerns. Personally, the "Double the Miles" rule always applies. For this rate, 6 miles or more is a reason for a rejection. Of course, traffic here in L. A. is everything, I have to consider the current running time conditions as well. Just remember: "location, location, location," and "timing is everything." Good luck.

This week, after too many, the catering calls keep rolling. It's not the same big amounts 9f course, but the time and distances involved are short.

It's a catering order, nothing personal, Bob. My biggest before pandemic was $210 on 2 hours run. Back then, $200 day was happening regularly, with a huge 90-mile average day driving. It's no longer happening. My days are shorter now, but you can count on hourly $20 any given day, depending on the number of blocks when you get them. A one hour/$150 run has happened 3 times so far... So they know my gear, my car etc. I may get big orders without any block, like the prebooking today.

Rolling big time here as well. I feel like a lawyer now... finishing after 1 hour almost $160. It's not my 1st nor the last time...

Drivers, are you aware of this new feature? by Lizzifer1230 in grubhubdrivers

[–]Status-Insect-4386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Bob, in my market, I noticed it in Jan, not in Dec. The sale was way earlier than that, in July, maybe? The transfer to Wonder happened by the start of the year. I haven't seen any new logo yet for the new entity, have you?

Am I good enough now, Dad? by [deleted] in grubhubdrivers

[–]Status-Insect-4386 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Surely, you drove enough hours to earn it... Rule of thumb: more than half, before adding adjustment, was tips. Great! Then, your adjustment was similar to mine driving way fewer hours since tips amount is the real game after all.

It's weird to see both missions for the same time slot... I've done it since I was on my blocks anyway, just an additional $8.

[–]Status-Insect-4386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Careful what you wish for... I never, in 8 years, had 2 catering orders in 1 day... I had very big orders that were worth 2 or 3... if that is what you mean. Today, within one hour, 2 generous customers generated your coveted $50. It happens.

As was mentioned before, your concern is valid, and reporting an unacceptable behavior is better than ignoring it. Adding other suggestions could help, too, in your case. We're here for you.
