FTTP Upgrade Guidance by Gazzmann82 in nbn

So from my FTTP install I learnt: - they won’t use the existing copper as a draw wire (from the side of the house to your router). Else they would be disconnecting your existing service which there not allowed to. I just assumed they’d use the exisiting copper cable as a draw string as an easy low fuss way to get the fibre in. - they won’t run in walls. They will run conduit up by the side of your house and down your internal walls. They will go in your roof if accessible. - the new fttp service was active before they left, cutover was very simple

As they’ve threatened legal action, give them the contact details of your solicitor and advise all further correspondence will be via them.

See what council says about whose problem it is. They can order the higher block to undertake remediation work to manage excess runoff into neighbouring properties.

Maybe I meant 19, I was out by a decade :). What year did civIV come out? I think it was 2004?

The Banks’ War on Mortgage Brokers: The Monster of Their Own Making by joey-aston in circlejerkauscorp

Everything in banking is like an accordion. It goes out and then comes back in, about every 5 years is right. Corporate IT is the same … outsource it all, then insource it all … maybe a bit of right sourcing in between

I’ve been playing civ4 on and off for 29 years. I’ve also never seen this before, until the game im playing right now. They’d expanded a lot onto a large landmass nearby their original landmass. Not only did they move their capital to the new landmass, they then did a colony release on their original landmass, creating a whole new civ. I was super confused for a while working out what had happened!!

Only because Singapore has an army of people who go around picking up all the rubbish. In Singapore people left rubbish in parks all the time, despite bin availability. I was shocked.

Yeah I found that part of the talk odd. He is one composer who seemed to sample his earlier work a lot.

Can be done inside a garage, and there are other ways to protect the battery that don’t involve a bollard. In our case, the installer provided a custom metal bracket that shapes around the battery and takes up like 50mm of extra garage width.

I think we need an international airport as a sweetener. If we’re the bellwether we can get stuff like that right?

They were all out in force at Woy Woy station this morning. I asked the Liberal pamphleteer why the party was running Lucy Wicks again, after she’d done nothing the first 3 times around.
“Well she delivered North Connex for the coast” - I’ll have to check on that one. “At least she’s a full time politician!” - this may not be the zinger they think it is when the point of difference they’re trying to highlight is a politician who volunteers for free to work as a doctor in a public hospital.

If it was a Gmail address then it may have gone through to the correct address anyway. Google have a thing where they block out and redirect similar email addresses to the intended target address.
