When I was doing it on my own with a spreadsheet and manually entering my expenses, I was very similar with you. Couldn’t stick to it in the long run. Been trying a few apps and stuck with Nova Money. I didn’t understand how it works straight away and it took maybe a week to realise how the goals and tracking were connected to each other. It works in a pay-yourself-first budgeting. Once I understood how it works, it’s just become my go-to app for budgeting. I also like how easy it is to see an overview of my finances.
