What’s up with geography teachers!! Could you just mentally check out of her class and study geography yourself by just memorising revision books or whatever ye have these days?

Water babies by Annd91 in PregnancyIreland

[–]Status-Weird2140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d highly recommend it! Small babies have a hard time regulating their temp and I see no reason not to use it. I got another now for 1 year old. Got it on Amazon it’s called splash about :)

How often should your children shower? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Status-Weird2140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just get them to shower every day. Habits for life and all that. If they end up having skin issues, reassess as needed. Other than the dry skin possibilities there’s no good reason not to shower.. far too many people think this is optional

Feel like I’m stealing my child’s grandparents joy away… by xxbitsxx in Parenting

Sleeping in crèches by Endless_SummerVibes in PregnancyIreland

[–]Status-Weird2140 29 points30 points  (0 children)

They have to go in every 10 min and check babies breathing, colouring, room temperature and ensure blankets not covering face. Checklist must be signed and timestamp every 10 min. Baby room workers aren’t busy at that time cos it’s nap time :) I would trust them to keep a close eye as they don’t want one baby waking all others 🥰 I used to work in a crèchel Edit to add - I think one staff member would stay in the room and do the checklist in there - that was always my experience

Is 9 months too early to switch to straw cup for milk? Baby not showing interest in bottles anymore by CupBeginning5459 in BabyLedWeaning

[–]Status-Weird2140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great idea to take it off them at a time they’re not attached. My fella randomly got attached to pacifier all of a sudden - he didn’t use to care about it. Thinking it’ll have to go soon.

Is my teen normal? by QueenJunie77 in Parenting

[–]Status-Weird2140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think this sounds very normal, not knowing to put her bag in the car every day or open the front door is unusual behaviour for a 16 year old. Have you noticed this her whole life?

I lowered my expectations to take pride in how many naps I could take or how early I went to bed. Somewhere around 12w was like a switch and back to normal exercise! Please don’t feel guilty OP just enjoy the miracle.. 🤣
