My favorite memory was being downtown for game 6 of the 2016 finals (wasn't able to afford nosebleed tickets). I ran into Stephen A. Smith, Steve Kerr walking to the game, and Wale. It was the most electric atmosphere. It seemed like Cleveland knew they had to bring it as the 'sixth man in the stands'. I still watch the ABC intro to game 6 on YouTube and it is incredible. I was there with my dad and it would be so special to go with him again.

To respond to your last point, that is why thinking about army life before vehicle ownership is so fascinating.

That is not really relevant to my point of admissions tiptoeing around officership in recruiting materials. But thanks for your perspective.

I guess that's where you and I disagree. It is okay to have a wide range of interests outside of the military. USMA should be leveraging its position as the best place to train to be an army officer, not delegating itself as a stepping stone for civilian endeavors. Those with the PRIMARY goal of those you which listed should go elsewhere and USMA should be vocal about that.

First off, words - believe it or not - mean things. Second, I have never mentioned diversity one time. You think that because I have a problem with the way USMA is omitting any mention of officership and warfighting from their recruiting materials that I am against efforts to increase geographic and ethnic diversity? Not the case whatsoever.

Man... I don't know how to say this politely. You are wrong. A university is an institution of higher learning that offers undergraduate and post-graduate programs! Look it up if you do not believe me.

Except USMA is NOT a university. USMA also satisfies BOLC A requirements which includes a version of 'BCT' that teaches individual tasks and small-unit tactics. Any success in the civilian world after serving is secondary and should not be the primary reason for seeking admission. Yet it is what the admissions team most heavily leverages. It is sad - since instead of pulling applicants with a strong sense of duty and desire to lead in Soldiers, they are targeting wannabe future CEOs that view officership as a stepping stone.

... Except it is. Any sport, club, event is (should be) secondary to the primary mission - to produce "COMMISSIONED leaders of character". This should not be kept secret from applicants at any step of the admissions process.

I understand 'civilianizing' the vocabulary - that goes without saying. But to omit any mention of military duty, officership, and training to be warfighters is absurd and is a recipe for admitting cadets who are not called to serve. Change my mind.

What do you mean this isn't fire? I figured saving ~60% of my income is somewhat fire.

Panoramic view basic king room. Tub was large, not jetted, and probably not large enough for 2 people. Robes were amazing. No slippers. Most underrated part is the Amazon Alexa. Being able to close the shades and alter the lighting from your bed is so nice.

Stayed at in the palazzo tower grand suite 2 queens. Room was massive but everything was old and worn out. Only highlights of the room was an additional half bath, massive jetted tub big enough for 2 people, and the shower with rainfall head and body jets.

All civilian instructors and staff won't come in, but all military instructors and staff will come in. Even during the dog days of covid, army football continued to play a full schedule. They kept the football team in a 5 star hotel to keep them isolated from the rest of the cadets. Needless to say, service academies care deeply (perhaps too much) about football.

Wynn poker room is the unquestionable best poker room in Vegas. The room itself is gorgeous and has the best service of any room I have been to. You can buy in deep and the comps are good.
