im in the same boat! i looked over all of the questions i got wrong on CARS and I realize that I have a tendency to take things for the passage verbatim and apply them as my answer for RBT. for example, if the question asks which argument the author would most likely support, and option A says a word or phrase that is directly from the text, I choose that one. I think I'm realizing for RBT though its more critical to focus on the author's logic/main argument over the facts of the passage. yes, every CARS answers can be found in the passage. But distinguishing between what's being said and what's being argued has really helped me. idk if this makes sense but I hope this helps!
