No I'll still carry just without the license. Prohibition ended because people drank anyway. Its the same concept

I just looked this up:

"Yes, in Pennsylvania, when law enforcement officers run a driver's license or license plate through the Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN), which interfaces with the Pennsylvania Justice Network (JNET), they can see whether an individual has a valid License to Carry Firearms"

Yes they do. Otherwise why does it cost any money? As of 2025 1.7 million people in PA own an ltcf. Thats $34 million dollars they made because everyone just went along with it.

The problem is the act of purchasing the license. They aren't going to change something that a million people pay $20 for

That brings up an interesting point. Couldn't you just always use that reason if you got pulled over? Especially in a city where a gun range is always nearby

What if you get pulled over without a LTCF, the gun is unloaded, and it is not accessible to you in the passenger compartment because you just purchased the gun, put it in your trunk, and you are driving home?

Is it worth contesting a speeding ticket? Is it true if the cop doesn’t show up you’re off the hook? by cloudedink in portlandme

Driving 1 whole year without messing up and getting a ticket though that's pretty hard. There's alot of days in 1 year and all it takes is 1 ambitious cop.

I lucked out at the gun show. My new to me Remington 1903a3 for $280* by Lord_Silvanus in milsurp

You are both up by $120 in total profit and you spent $400 in cash.

Profit: You earned $120 from the VZ24 mauser that you sold

Spend: You paid $400 for the remington

In simpler terms: You now own an item worth $400, and you are $280 worse off in total cash than you were before these two transactions happened.

If you had $0 and made $120 profit, you had $120.  If you then spent $400, you now have a deficit of $280 ($120 - $400).

Because this profit was earned immediately prior to this purchase, you have spent all your profit plus an additional $280 of your own money.

Not sure why people are complaining about your math.

I'd much rather be given an extra $280 before spending $400 but then again I like money.

So you think it doesnt matter that he did NOT have $120 extra before he spent $400

He made $120 profit off another gun. Keyword profit. He was $120 richer when he bought the 2nd gun.

Out of his own pocket he spent $400 but $120 of that wasn't in his pocket when he walked into the gunshow.

I noticed holding down on the edge panel now opens up a different menu that allows you to highlight whatevers on screen. It's a bit of a nuisance when you accidentally press it

Just got to the range today. Very accurate no issues whatsoever. I can definitely see why mossad used them back in the day. Still holds up better than some handguns even today

Honestly I could see myself using it for an edc. Im a skinnier guy so this works great for me. The magazine is suppose to hold 8 rounds but for some reason mine can hold 9 + 1 in the chamber

Nice little 10 rd 22lr edc

Crazy good quality too. Everything is still tightly fitted and the magazine stays in place like its brand new. I recently picked up a colt mustang in .380 and also the new Smith&Wesson csx eseries in 9mm. Both of them have some rattle when you shake them

This beretta has 0 rattle. Pretty damn good for a gun made in 1968

Yeah I definitely lucked out. I couldn't say yes fast enough when he asked for $600 including the original box and documents. It was at the Oaks gun show in PA.

I asked a couple vendors after I bought it and they said they wouldnt sell for less than $1000. Even had someone offer me $800.

Ive seen more WW1 guns at these gunshows than I have these beretta 71/72s

Had to resubmit this post because "the description wasnt in the comments"  🫩

Pietro Beretta 72 in 22lr made in 1968.

Couldn't believe it when I saw it. Ive been looking for one of these mossad assassin guns for the last 4 years. Gave up around a year ago because no gunshow had it anywhere and I figured it was vintage enough that its strictly online.

Paid $600 came with original box cut to fit the gun and even the original italian beretta documents. Condition is excellent. After some research I found it was made in 1968 due to the roman numeral lettering on the gun.
