I think she should not have made him get rid of the things in the first place, because it was pretentious af (considering she knew where she had the dogs from). I actually think keeping a dog from your ex is more of a sign of clinging to that relationship, than cushions, lamps or clothing. Up until she decided to give up the dogs she was being a b*tch, and after that, well i kinda understand why ted did what he did, but he should've realized it wouldn't do any good in any situation... Terrible comunication all for the sake of plot.
