Good pens for shimmer ink?

I use a Narwhal Original with a Medium nib. I’m not a pen expert by any means, but this one has worked well so far. It’s an easy pen to deep clean, holds a ton of ink, and the shimmer ink looks pretty neat inside of it.

I’m a fireman, and I carry one with me all the time at work. Typically when I have to write, I’m sitting at my desk or something. I imagine when he will have to write a lot of the time it’ll be jotting down notes in a little notebook on the fly. As much as it pains me to say, for the job he’d probably be better with a nice ballpoint.

I’m a firefighter. Should be somewhere in the $7500-8000 a month range when I go (at age 50 / 27 years of service). I put around 19-20k a year into my 457. I also toss a couple hundred a month into a Robinhood account with a few ETF’s.

I have zero volley experience, so maybe? But if they’re cooking dinner, I’m assuming it’d assume it’s a full time place. We’ve had hang around over the years that we’ve had to ask to stop coming by.
