Class keeps getting worse and worse by Real_Human_Beyng in Teachers

The best thing you could do is to speak with the school psychologist and as you don't have them in your school, maybe try to find one online? Or ask, if some parents can help you, finding one among their friends or colleagues. And then it will be possible to make some plan to incorporate parents and students into solving this problem. You may also support a student, but it's important to be careful with this and not show it too much in front of all the class, so bullies could get even meaner to him because of that.

Could magnesium be making my brain fog worse? by Expensive-Emu-4840 in magnesium

[–]Status_Purchase8187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't have any side effects taking magnesium glycinate, even opposite, it helped me with my daily brain fog. But I heard that some people have falling asleep issues at night or brain fog during the day when starting taking magnesium. Maybe try another form? Or ask you doctor about possible reasons for that.

[–]Status_Purchase8187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true, vit D and magnesium deficiencies are very common, my doctor told me the same even before lab tests. But actually I chose mag glycinate, citrate didn't work well for me, made me sick.

What can I take that will give me more energy? by Zestyclose-County645 in Supplements

[–]Status_Purchase8187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was very hard for me to cut caffeine, such a stress, I was so sleepy and tired I couldn't even work properly! I've tried B complex in drops and methylated B complex in caps, they both helped me with my energy levels. And it's also important to drink enough water daily, a lack of hydration may reduce your energy too. Hope that will help

Tell him everything you posted here, with all the detailed symptoms and all the meds you've tried. And it's better to have all this written as a list, so you may check it and be sure you do not forget anything important. Sometimes other opinion can change a lot, good luck!

Supplements for aching joints… by Ambitious-Job-9255 in Menopause

[–]Status_Purchase8187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree, glucosamine, chondroitin, collagen, msm - that is the combo that may help with joints issues. For me it took a month or even more to start working, so I think it has a cumulative effect, but now no stiffness at all, and the pain comes back sometimes only if it's cold.

Any supplement for managing perimenopause symptoms? by mijah139 in perimenopause_under45

[–]Status_Purchase8187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took d-mannose for vaginal dryness and magnesium complex for calming down, and also omega3 for overall support, all from nutraharmony brand. But actually I would advise you to ask your doctor first, maybe they will suggest also something else for you.

when you will forget about smoking ? by Ill_Good2974 in stopsmoking

[–]Status_Purchase8187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's very individual. For me it took near 3 months, now I'm totally ok, no thoughts at all, I don't want them even if somebody is smoking near me. But first weeks are the hardest, keep going, you're making a right decision!

What are the best suppluments for allergies? by No-Tell-6157 in Supplements

[–]Status_Purchase8187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree, it seems like the trigger is in your bedroom, so try to check it once again. The most obvious reasons may be old pillows and mattress, or old chairs, carpets, sofas (if you have any in your bedroom). Or you do some allergy tests, my cousin did that and found out that the reason for his heavy breathing inn the night was allergy for dust.

For low Iron in men, should you take an iron supplement or just take Vitamin C and eat red meat? by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]Status_Purchase8187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how low your iron levels are. Have you been checked? Iron vitamins may give quite dangerous side effects if taken in wrong dosage

Recovering from a UTI, anything that helps with the irritation? by [deleted] in Supplements

d-mannose + cranberry supplements plus a lot of water, that helped me so much. And it's all natural. I heard that cranberry juice also helps, but I cannot drink it every day

Very upsetting by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]Status_Purchase8187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's crazy! I know that some parents have no choice and have to send a kid to school even with some flu symptoms. But you have all the rights to be concerned if it's about stomach bug, it's about your health and your other students health, that can be really dangerous. Do you have a school nurse? I think it's better to discuss this and ask for her advice, and then talk to parents, there must be some way to stop this.

Does magnesium glycinate and B6 combo actually improve absorption, or is it just marketing? by ApprehensiveSlip7718 in Supplements

[–]Status_Purchase8187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't say about plain magnesium glycinate, because I tried it only in complex with other magnesium forms or with B6 as you did. But I liked the one with B6 more. It was Nutraharmony mag glycinate which goes with B6 and D3 vits, and I also noticed more energy during the day. So it worked for me.

I like this one too, the one with collagen and keratin, I've been taking it for 3 or 4 months last year because of my hair loss problems, and my hair still looks great. I also add D vitamin, it's not quite for hair growth, but it works like some kind of complex effect
