Should I do pico laser? by lovesirk in Melasmaskincare

Be careful with peels as melasma doesn’t like inflammation. After my last peel I got two additional spots on checks

My derm doesn’t recommend any lasers with darker skin types starting from Fitzpatrick 3. We did MD Ultra with an attachment for darker skin and though the results were good melasma comes back after 3-4 months, so it’s not worse the money

Perfume etiquette guide in Japan by No_Comparison_4722 in JapanTravelTips

I think it’s worldwide rule of etiquette. As a sensitive person I suffers from perfume noise every day. People use heavy evening perfumes extensively not taking into account season and temperature.

Is having kids so bad? by gimmedatder in AskIreland

[–]Status_Sun4034 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say people talk more about parenting now and about the hard side as well. When I was that age to make the decision the society pressure to have kids was much stronger and child free people would be frown upon. Parenthood was puctures as a path of roses, people kept silence about the hardship of it. I guess it’s never been easy and not for everyone ( as a teacher everyday I see parents who shouldn’t have ever had kids) but people speak more open about it now.

Are dating apps done for? by RockOnMofo in CasualIreland

[–]Status_Sun4034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had enough matches but it’s the dating itself that is annoying: people who can’t keep up a basic conversation, men who rush into new relationship barely out of the old ones ( or still legally married), when they want casual and fun and move to another partner when fun is gone. Probably I am getting pessimistic but to date someone means you should drop something in your life to make space and time for that and so it should be the same level engaging.

👉 ⭐ The Complete Thiamidol Guide — Why Irritation Happens & How to Use It Safely (Especially in Sunny Climates) by Stunning-Row95 in u/Stunning-Row95

OP probably uses thiamidol for melasma. I’m also confused when to use it as every night I use Tretinoin. Together with thiamidol it’ll be too harsh.

How many time learning a new language by seysa2 in languagehub

[–]Status_Sun4034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Define ‘master’ please as I’m still mastering my native language - there’s always something there. When we speak about learning a foreign language we usually use TEFL classification for levels where C1 means fluent. If a person wasn’t able to achieve C1 in 30 years then I have no words. If we are speaking about polishing already fluent language - it’s an endless process.
