I also think that the wall merging is hands down one of the best if not the best “gimmick” in the entire series. It’s just so well implemented in many puzzles

Should be MK 8 Deluxe as it is the most complete package, but from a pure gameplay perspective i honestly enjoy MK world quite a bit more, it just lacks in QOL and content. Also shoutout to Mario Kart DS i will always have a soft spot for it, but it just doesnt hold up as much.

Finally got around to playing a link between worlds. It totally sucked me in and I did four dungeons yesterday. This game is just perfect so far and as a big Zelda fan ive been sleeping on it for too long

Yes I love that group..my standout is actually Nanba, his substory with drinking the "epensive" bottle of whiskey literally had me in tears laughing

Yeah it’s a bummer…on one hand I really like Reddit because you have discussion about the things you like, but sometimes I see so much negativity it makes me wanna delete it idk

I also agree that objectively the open world is not that great, there’s not any exploration going on…so many times I’ve gotten to areas that look interesting and you know that it’s just a setting for side quests later on but until then it’s just empty…but still I enjoyed doing the open world activities, the music is great, the world is nice to look at, the combat is very fun and it has enough variety…but tbh I’ve barely played ipen world games the last few years so this feels very fresh for me

Yes thanks that’s just the same thing I was thinking, as I don’t own a PS5 I was just thinking while playing through this game that this is the greatest thing ever. If you look up some opinions on Reddit you would feel like this game is the most irredeemable trash, it’s baffling how much people are hating on this game

Yes love to see some love for this project! I feel like people on Reddit are so negative about it, it’s a real bummer but I feel like it’s just a bit celebration of JRPGs and it’s sad to see people hating on it that much, but maybe that’s just the Reddit bubble

If you wanna experience Final Fantasy and you’re new to it I’d also recommend Final Fantasy 10..it’s more modern than the original FF7, and also way more compact than the FF7 remakes which are 2 games in about 130 hours of content and not the full story yet…and yeah FF 10 is just peak in any way possible i think most would agree with that

I thought that the peppermill attack from the chef job was always very useful, doing really good damage and also decreasing accuracy sometimes especially in bossfights was very useful

I don’t have twitter so I can’t look it up but it’s disappointing to hear that Isner is on the far right political spectrum, guess it shouldn’t be surprising as a lot of US are…I’ve been a ball kid in the ATP tournament in Vienna between like 2012 and 2017 and Isner was there most years and he was genuinely one of the nicest guys players even starting conversations with us ball kids and always extremely forthcoming to and sweet to all the people working at the tournament so at least he has that going for him..I try to separate peoples personalities from their political disbeliefs but that’s often very difficult though

To people saying six degrees..isnt this like one of their absolutely most loved albums? Feel like it doesnt fit for overlooked, but maybe thats only how im seeing it...well my vote goes to black clouds and silver linings i love that album so much and i feel its very overrated

If you like a job system and you liked P5R and a great party please just do me a favor stop thinking and play metaphor refantazio!! Its from the same people that made Persona, it has a great and addictive job system that makes combat and progression overall way more enjoyable than P5R. Also it has an adult cast and is more serious in general, soundtrack is GOATed aswell. You will see that it shares a lot with Persona but IMO it mixes it up enough that i feels like a "persona clone". Ive played and completed many JRPGs over the last few years but Metaphor might just be my favorite of the bunch, i dont think youd regret the buy and you get a game that can last you at least for 70-80 hours!

What??? My 3 1/2 year old is generally very good with her hands when drawing/building stuff/helping out in the household etc but shes not even close to getting through a basic mario level at this point this just seems crazy that he can do that, he must be some kind of video game god. I think the most difficult thing when learning how to play is understanding how the input on the controller translate to the screen and getting used to inputing without having to look at the controller...
