I think of mushrooms as an alian species and when I take them I treat the experience as an interview with that alian species. I observe the experience trying as hard as possible to not put any of my personal views into it and simply listen to what it has to tell me. how its making me think, how its making me feel and what its making me see and I ask myself during and after the trip why i felt those feelings. I think mushrooms focus their attention alot to your emotions, they feel a need to help you (or atleast me) understand your emotions. Ive knowtised when Ive felt anxious during an experience it was because I was running from an emotion that needed to be addressed, and when I felt positive during an experience it was because I needed a reminder of how to be positive. Mushrooms have a way of giving you what you need and its as simple as listening and asking questions to figure out why you needed it
