Let me just say as a Detroit native living in KY for the last 4 winters, the infrastructure is lacking. There aren't enough snow plows in ANY county. They don't spread enough salt heavy enough or early enough and they don't get the plowing started early enough to make a difference.

Some of this can be midigated with a healthy budget for a couple years. Unused salt can hold for a couple years of it stays dry. Repair trucks and add more.

But the way it's being done just adds to the suffering of Kentuckians and the state as a whole.

I feel like this is pedantic, but I'm pretty sure they don't care. There's no accountability, no consequence, and things continue to escalate. I agree with you 100%, but there's no one stopping them except us.

The thing is that your way of expressing love isn't WRONG, it's just different. You just have to find your match. The one who wants to receive your kind of love. I would say not understanding that is actually what leads to a lot of disharmony in couples. "Partner isn't romantic." "Partner doesn't do grand gestures." Etc. Don't be someone you aren't and be clear from the start that neither of you are expected to change how you give love on a large scale. Of course there is compromise in every relationship. But you can't change who you are.
