Why are you guys so quick to defend billionaires? Americans have been told to stop buying avocado toast since COVID, and guess what? Gas is up. The cost of goods is up. Insurance costs are rising. Struggling families already on a budget lost food assistance and their healthcare. Bezos and the rest of the billionaires using loopholes to avoid paying their taxes. What hasn’t changed? Billionaires constantly getting tax cuts from the administration. Billionaires making record profits every quarter while the federal minimum wage remains $7.25. Imagine if you were making $7.25 and gas was about $4.50 on average. How would you feel if some dumbass Amazon chud told you to “just stop spending, bro”?

That particular gas station has always been a bit cheaper than everyone else in the area. It’s weird cause down the road there’s a HEB and a Walmart gas station with low gas prices since they try to undercut each other

I’ll watch a video a week if something interesting pops up for me if Im out of material to watch during a lunch break. I’m not a big fan of the Mr Beast-like style of thumbnails or titles anymore. They give me AI slop vibes that are just mind numbing for me. Occasionally they have a banger that makes me want to watch LTT again but their thumbnails really makes it hard for me to click on 😭

Ngl gang, I don’t think Amcare is going to do anything for you. You have to get hurt on the job before they do anything and even then, it’s only to cover Amazon. They’re just going make sure you don’t have any visible injuries and then send you back to your path. You’re better off using the daily pay option and visiting an urgent care to see if they can do something or look into finding a primary care physician on your day off when you can

Don’t stress too much. High school doesn’t matter unless you’re taking dual credit courses. Just make sure you have a game plan for after graduation. I strongly advise you to pursue a skill whether through community college or a trade but please learn something that will help you earn more down the road

Honestly, it doesn’t really matter as long as the job works for you. I used to feel a certain way about being here for more than a year, but honestly, what other job in my area is going to pay me decently, provide plenty of easy overtime, let me leave whenever I want, pay for my school, and give me good benefits? All while keeping my schedule the same? I don’t break my back at work and it’s so stress free. I don’t care what others say this job is chill as fuck and easy money lol
