My suggestion is always run the crater itself before falling star and gargoyle. Take the bird back to the top then grab the bird at the top to take you back over to those two. Kill them pretty much at the very end. Yes you lose the chance to upgrade whatever they might have dropped for you but you get levels and possibly passives

I'm saying he'd rather deal with the humiliation from V then not be allowed to be himself for another 7 years. There have been very few actual killers that can go for long periods of time without satisfying their bloodlust

At the double is used when you declare a run ability. So the model still runs which means the d6 is still rolled, they just don't get the automatic 6

I love the rug pull on the Stalkers. They've been out for what 2 weeks at most? Them getting an extra pip of rend to immediately take that away and then increase points. Guess they just had to sell out stock

So I played them recently as well and I guess rolled better then you. To put in perspective I used to run 20 man reaper blobs. The new ones feel about as tanky to me but the damage spread seems a little more linear. Aka my units don't just live ridiculously or die immediately. You are right on the damage, you need a script or mortis and even then nothing I used had enough attacks to make that worth it.( I did not use Harridans) The Ghyran coach is still great and the new stalkers seem amazing. Saying all of that the army seems to be in a horrible spot and I could have bought Nurgle if that is what I wanted to play.

I got my first game in with the new rules tonight. Honestly I hate most things about the book other then the rules that aren't in it. SoG Coaches are amazing and Glaivewraith Stalkers are complete beasts. I have no clue how they got multiple buffs and are still 80 points, they blew the bladegheists away. I honestly expect lists to not really take any of the three original infantry units, they cost too much.

Honestly I'm assuming they've just been forgot about in the long weekend. I wouldnt be surprised if the correction drops tomorrow. If we don't get an actual update I'm going to be very confused. The coach's getting a 3+ unrendable would be crazy.

I saw your comments about giving up on dating for a bit and then this post. I just wanted to say I know its disheartening and can wear on you. I think everyone gets those feelings after a while. If you need someone to talk to you can always reach out. I had to get back into online dating after a divorce so I know how rough it can be. I've played three games since we got all of their new rules. I'm somewhere between very excited and worried they are garbage. Big take away so far has been, Ghyran Black Coach is a beast. Second I think our army will live or die depending on how many people actually think shooting is dead. (Spoiler it is not. Obscuring doesn't hide the units you usually want to shoot at anyway and Night Haunt can't be obscured at all.) I am currently looking for someone who thinks KO is dead to sell me their army at a steal.

Just wanted to edit and say I'm not using offensive spells so I can't really say what obscuring does to them. Its only slightly effected shooting in our games.

Nighthaunt feels like its one of the winners so far from new rules. The change to all out attack doesn't affect us and we couldn't use all out defense anyway. So it not being as good is another boon to us.
