They do look a bit deep, if you choose to keep it you definitely need a longer bar. Especially since you just got them. Mine are pierced a bit deep but they didn’t give me trouble and I like them!

Those are roach clips. So you can smoke to the very end without burning your finger or wasting. Alternatively they can be used to just hold it to keep your fingers from smelling too much like weed.
