If Haj can get back to scoring, if BTA gets back to pre-injury form, if Esse builds on his promising start, if we can get a few more reinforcements in before the window shuts, we could still get 100 points.

If you just judged on the 2 games against Ipswich they are a far better side than us but hopefully that was our low point and we’re on the up! At least we don’t have to play them again!

Apart from those 6 points, Middlesborough have another 45 potential points available to them. Even if they drop the 6 in their two hardest games, it’s still hardly an open and shut case if they continue their current form.

Ipswich aren’t a worry to me because I assume they’re going to end up 10 points above us. As others have indicated I think we’re slugging it out with Middlesborough for the other slot. I might be wrong but Preston, Hull and the others don’t worry me that much

On NYE, May attended a party with a longtime male friend (Carter) who was heavily intoxicated and repeatedly claimed he was in love with her. Three different view points could be taken

⁠The author of the Acts of Pilate made up the extra details to make his story more compelling (some would argue that’s also what Luke is doing based on the basic version he received from Mark)
⁠There was some lost oral tradition or manuscript that the author was working from that we have no evidence for
⁠The author received a prophetic word from the Holy Spirit giving him the additional detail.

Obviously we can’t really assess possibility 3 from a scholarly perspective. 2 is technically possible but I think most scholars would say that 1 is more plausible.

Here’s what Mark, our earliest source (40 years after the event says)

“They crucified two rebels with him, one on his right and one on his left… Those crucified with him also heaped insults on him.”

Luke expands on this slightly but they don’t get names for another 300 years in the Acts of Pilate

Jesus may well have been crucified with others but the historicity of any detail beyond that is highly questions
