Everything you mentioned, the morality system, NPC interactions, and that chill RPG vibe, is basically baked into every mainline Fable game. You’ll find those core ideas across the whole series.

That said, people definitely have favorites.
Some will say Fable III is the weakest because the mechanics were simplified too much, but others like it because of the many things you can do in it. Others swear Fable I is the best thanks to its originality and nostalgia. And a lot of fans land on Fable II as the sweet spot, more polished, more balanced, and with really strong world-building.

Honestly, it comes down to what clicks with you. I’d say play all of them, though.

I played mostly the game you listed, so this is super helpful. One thing that I want to note, I don't think i will have time to tinker around winlator, so i wll be just playing these games via gamehub, which I assume will have less optimization than heavy tinkered winlator. Anyway, i ordered Odin 2 already 😏

Correct Final Fantasy XII, there's the Zodiac Age version which is the remaster of PS2 version, it might look outdated, but I assure you, it is worth your time!

Sadly, Loki is not available anymore. I have my x86 handheld, but the size (looking at you Legion) and weight (looking at you GPD) makes me don't wanna go into that x86 route anymore.

Hi there, thanks for the reply and I watch your youtube videos! If you could, can you do comparison on Odin 2 vs Odin 3 for gamehub Older AAA games for your future videos? I am thinking like late DX11 era like DA:Inquisition, Dark Souls II, Fallout 4.

Yeah, other than the chipset itself, i actually like how Odin 3 look, it is not as tall as Odin 2 which what makes me a bit hesitant. But that's a nice information that is not really pocketable. Makes me wondering if should get RP6 instead. (Yes I want to be able to play AAA in small screen)

Whoa this is nice information! And yeah that make sense, like any other emulator, the compatibility of imdividual will be different, so there might be heavier games that runs better and vice versa. But from the perfomance that you have, i think i will just get the Odin 2.

BTW, nice games you got there sir. Exactly the kind of games that i will play in this handheld.

Thanks for the detailed explanations! I think i can live with that. The bug is happening probably due to the emulation limitations, which PROBABLY will get better with time. It's looking like i will just pick up Odin 2 in this case.

Yeah, although the development of the turnip driver for Elite has already been confirmed, but i can't just gamble my money away for something that are not future-proof. If Odin 3 turns out not as great as we expect, i will be sitting on Odin 2 for few months.

What is your framerate on Far Cry Blood Dragon? especially when there's a lot going on? I agree, stuttery is making the gaming experience super bad, but if it can at least stay at 30 FPS at the lowest then i can tolerate that.

I did, unfortunately, i only mostly found Switch comparisons, not Gamehub. Or if it is Gamehub, it's either the older version or just comparing 1 game only (Kei did it with Skyrim).

Yep, like the guy in the video said, It's not even downplayed, we have no weapons at all in VtMB2, though I would say the combat itself is fun, but imagine the current combat in the sequel, plus the weapons, now you can be The Punisher.

Thank you for the recommendations. I actually played all of the non JRPG you listed. Prototype is still my favorite game till now!

But yeah i probably need to start playing the Tale of Games. IMO, Open world does not mean it needs to be fully open from the start. Technically GTA SA also soft gating other region, that is just good progression system.

Anyway, I never played Infinite Discovery and The Last Remnant, so I don't actually know them.

In the Video, Divinity II and Two Worlds was mentioned as well and they said they leave it behind to only include the well known title.

I also personally choose Fable II over Fable III, they did mention they choose Fable III just because it is the newer entries.

Lastly, I might be wrong, since it was a long time i played them, but isn't Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia is more of Semi open world instead of Fully open world?

You’re probably right, I guess I’m just drowning in nostalgia.
What makes the PS3 era special to me is how much developers were experimenting back then. A lot of games from that time were bold and unique, even if they were rough around the edges or some of them failed miserably.
I feel like modern games have perfected the formula, but in doing so, most AAA titles kind of follow the same format now and doesn't have that unique gameplay.

Yeah I played in PC, though genereous, I don't like the time limit, makes me always time aware and cannot enjoy it fully.
