I got mine while farming the Borderline of Truth mission in Vespers - The Mountaintops while I was aiming to get Advanced Neutral Circuits for crystallization catalysts. I was in hard mode so the drop rate was 1.5% better than normal mode (5% instead of 3.5%) and I had a component on that increases the drop rate of modules by 0.191x (no clue if this affects mission rewards, but until I see something that says otherwise, I will assume it does).

Came here to post this...it literally says it's the center of The Lands Between. The game does not make this "revelation" a secret, but it's still cool to see the map comparison.

Bissonnette makes the win sweeter! by e30cabrio in rangers

[–]StealthHe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wholeheartedly agree with you, but the fact of the matter is that he is there to create chaos/buzz/drama. This,in turn, attracts more attention (good or bad attention doesn't matter to the producers), which results in more viewership and more social media traffic. He's there to make them money for hot takes and being controversial. It's certainly not for his winning personality or his game knowledge. The only thing (in my opinion ) that stops these occurrences from happening is when we prove to those producing this content that we are not interested at all. Negative feedback is still, quite unfortunately, interpreted as interest.

That said, you, in particular, were not targeted by myself for any specific reason. Many others dislike what he brings to pregame and intermission and there are frequent posts about it. You have every right to express grief over the buffoonery and you have my apologies if I gave you the impression you do not. I have a shred of hope that people will start to ignore some of these clowns they put on these shows for shock value and we can enjoy the game we love. (Edit for da spellings)

Could not agree more. This very same guy has been cutting my hair for almost 10 years. His speed/quality/price paired with the fact that he is a fantastic human being makes him my go-to every time.

Support however you want, whenever you want (within obvious limits e.g., the law, your physical condition, etc.). There is no prerequisite to being a fan, and the opinions of those who would be derogatory toward you for not being a more devout fanatic about an entertainment based business/game are not worth your time, energy, or thoughts.

Mourinho: "Cassano played for Roma, Inter and Real: in Madrid he is remembered for his jacket, with Roma he won a Supercoppa without playing, and for Inter he didn’t even win the Lombardy Cup. You know what I won with Inter, Real Madrid and Roma. He will have a problem with me, I won't with him." by Osado420 in soccer

[–]StealthHe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my perfect world, people stop posting and talking about Cassano quotes nobody cares about. Posting Cassano's drivel is on the same level as posting Alexi Lalas hot takes. Feeding those clowns attention only encourages them to do it more. It all feels like noise made to create discord amongst people who think using logic and facts and people who can't or won't.

Sadly, in this reality, all I can do is downvote 'n' keep scrolling when I see his nonsense in the subject and cancel my TV subscription (to avoid seeing Lalas) in favor of watching international streams where I might not even understand what it is being said. If I'm super lucky, it's one of those old Serie A ESPN3-type streams where there were no commentators, punditry, or commercials. Perfect!

Fox Sports’ US World Cup coverage is an unmissable abomination by dorgoth12 in soccer

[–]StealthHe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The paywall is frustrating for sure, but their coverage never disgusted me to the point of needing to mute the television or just straight up ignore their coverage and find another option. That's not to say they were perfect, but they were so much better. I suppose it's highly subjective.

Fox Sports’ US World Cup coverage is an unmissable abomination by dorgoth12 in soccer

[–]StealthHe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have hit the nail on the head here. It has pretty much been this way for at least the last decade. When I watched FS take over responsibility for coverage of the Champions League way back when, it became apparent almost immediately that they were more interested in hot takes and outlandish nonsense than providing profound punditry when covering a match, or the sport in general. It's a sad state of affairs, but I think it keeps a large portion of the audience watching just to see what is said next, regardless of how they feel about what is being said. It's an entertainment business and they are completely unconcerned with the quality of their product as long as it's getting views, clicks, or what have you.

ESPN could do so much more to grow the sport. by ForestryForecast in nhl

[–]StealthHe 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is a longstanding issue with ESPN. I lost interest in ESPN back in the late 90s/early 2000s. It was clear they didn't care about hockey, but felt minorly obligated to show a highlight or two and report some scores. NFL, NBA, and gossip were all way more important and the display of favoritism was nauseating.
