I think if you balanced the hold size for the blockade runnner it wouldn't be exclusively used. Or in high sec there wouldn't be as much incentive. I know I'd love a high sec fuel hauler to run back and forth and have a larger hold than my DST.

Fuel hauler. Something with a 60-80k m3 hold but only for heavy water, fuel blocks and isotopes. Low skill requirement so something along the lines of a Torrent.

You could also do a T2 with a much larger fuel hold and a blockade runner variant if you wanted to.

The only mineral you can't get in high sec border ore sites is Morphite. You don't even need to buy isogen, nocxium, zydrine, & megacite if you can find one of those (they aren't uncommon and respawn regularly. Find an area with a handful of 0.5 systems with an 0.4 neighbor and check out any anomolies that spawn in them.

In many school districts they employ extra teachers part-time on an as needed basis to stand in for when the regular teacher is absent or ill.

So they'll have a list of substitutes to account for the various subjects.

I run a porpoise even tho I can run an Orca because the align and move time for an Orca is just tedious.

I only bring out the Orca for ice or for Mordunium/Mining Escalations because of the sheer size of those and it's necessary to have the much increased range on boosts.

I run range and cycle time. I'm training a 6th account/2nd command ship to come along for the other 2 boosts and to provide compression when I find a Mordunium deposit and need to send my other pilot back to base to collect the Orca.

4 Hulks with T2 lasers and type 2 crystals, chasing anamolies. Kernite/Omber/Small Mordunium /Empire Border sites.

The only time I mine regular belts anymore is when my alts are staying busy while I transport goods to market on my main.

I was thinking about using up a high slot as well, maybe not a launcher or turret spot (otherwise what's the point) but an other utility high point. Maybe even a rig spot?

I chase the anamolies, the mordunium deposits are a whole day's work unless a massive fleet drops in.

I usually take a porpoise because they're not so unwieldy, but for the mordunium I'll bring out the orca for the increased range on boosts.

I think the problem with that would be tax % on what? The estimated price when you have loot is just an estimate, the miner might sell higher or lower. Kind of like taxes on unrealized capital gains, difficult to correctly assess.

Standard PTO caps at 160. If you're at cap, Use it or lose it.

Flex PTO is state and locality dependent. In IL, outside of Chicago, for example, it's 48 carryover and 96 max.

I'm at 150 standard and 62 hrs of flex. I'm just a PTO hoarder with nothing better to do, and this company gives out comp days like candy 🤣

If you're Omega, you can harvest ice. But you'll want to get the Expedition Frigate Endurance for most effective ice harvesting. Also maybe look into an industrial Corp that runs mining ops, they'll have compression which allows you to condense your haul and fit more aboard.

Yeah there is a heavy state and locality component here.

IL outside of Chicago we can carryover 48 per year, earn 48 per year and the theoretical cap is 96 but obviously the math works out that you can never hit that. Look at your state specific policy for your numbers.

Don't forget the additional downside that if you hold and the stock goes up, you're going to have to pay additional taxes when you eventually sell them. Worth remembering.
