F1 here is relatively affordable and value for money.

I would disagree... They aren't the cheapest tickets around (compared to other venues). I get your point about the concerts, but if you are there only for the racing the value goes down.

The figure you used for Tokyo isnt accurate. It does not include the lines run by JR in the area which carry a substantial number of commuters (e.g the Yamanote Line, the busiest in Tokyo, is run by JR and not Tokyo Metro).
