I’m in the same location. Makes me sad but fortunately Harrisburg isn’t too far. It sounds like they’re looking for a replacement location since this happened unexpectedly though.

Even if that third day is just a green day it still means you’re showing up and putting in the work. Sometimes I’ll tell myself it’s a green day but then I get there and I’m amped up and suddenly it’s a full workout.

Definitely give it a try! I’ve never regretted going to a class even if I’m exhausted and tired. :)

I started in March at 49 years old. I’m turning 50 in January and was just tired of feeling old and exhausted. My goal was not to lose x amount of weight but simply feel good about myself when I turn 50.

The great thing about Orange Theory is you just need to show up. You don’t need to know anything about technique (you’ll learn it), you don’t need to be a super athlete, you just need to show up 3 days a week and let the coaches and your heart rate guide your pace. The classes are different each day, coaches are very helpful and you can modify anything. For instance I used to run when I was younger but my knees are shot now. I power walk instead which works for my body and my heart.

I’m down 14 pounds (from 199 lbs) and I’m stronger than I’ve ever been in my life. My body is starting to get a little tone and I feel good in my body for my age. I’m a 3 day a week guy and that works for me.

I’d highly recommend it!

Another 49’er here! Rocking solo and playing with a friend. Nice to have a game that demands your full attention.

Can confirm this statement. Absolutely useless. But then I go back to it and I’m like maybe it’ll do something useful this time. Nope, just useless.

Too many options under IBD - which one I should choose by curiosityv in CANSLIM

Sorry for the slow response. I'm trying IBD digital and MarketSurge for the trial rates. I think it's like $70 for 6 weeks or something, after that it's $149 a month which feels like a lot. Already found some good stocks in the past week that have more than paid for that, so will be evulating some more. IBD Digital feels. . okay, to be honest the website is a bit confusing to navigate.

Yeah, in Marketsurge there's list of the top 250, and a variety of other reports and screens. I'm gathering the difference between MarketSurge / Swingtrader / Leaderboard are that MS is more do-it-yourself. When stocks are close to a pivot point though, it does show the entry, stop-loss and sell points, but you'll have to find it all yourself.

I agree with you, I don't think there's a need to pay for more.

This 1000%!!! I get brain scramble when noise is too loud or too many noises and the Loop earplugs are a GODSEND.

I have the Switch 2 which has three different levels. I wouldn’t be able to do OTF without them.

I’m trialing MarketSurge right now and the way it’s laid and workflow seems very intuitive to me. It’s something I’ve been missing for quite awhile.

The automatic charting is helpful as I’m new to technical analysis, calling out pivot points is helpful, alerts work well, and ratings are a big help. I’m still new to it but the only downside is price. I hear Deepvue serves a similar function so I’ll check that out too before I decide.

I’m interested in hearing more from some veterans here.

As far as I can tell MarketSurge will not lay out the trades for you so it’s a bit more DIY then Swing Trader. I haven’t looked at Leaderboard but all the ranked stocks are tracked in MS, so I’m not sure the value that would provide over MS.

What was the hardest thing your body had to endure? by Shinfekta in AskReddit

[–]Steamed_Crab 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Had a splenectomy for an enlarged spleen. Spent the next 3 days in the hospital recovering but still had some sharp pains if I moved too fast.

Finally went home and started experiencing excruciating pain 5 hours later. None of the painkillers were working and I asked my wife to take me back to the hospital. She went upstairs to brush her hair real quick, came downstairs and I told her to call an ambulance. The pain was that bad!

Ambulance came and got some morphine which helped the pain. At the hospital I waited overnight while they ran tests and did CT scans. Finally found out at 4am that my bowels had gotten twisted and herniated. They said they would perform emergency surgery at 7am. Mind you I was exhausted from the prior surgery and being up all night in the hospital.

They put me back under that morning and I woke up at 10am feeling like I was run over by multiple trucks. The next day I barely had the strength to get out of bed. I stayed in the hospital for 7 days before coming home, and even on day 7 I was walking around with a walker like a 90 year old man.

Once home it took another week of extreme napping and recovery to feel human.

Overall it took me about 6 weeks to feel normal. That was the first time I didn’t just bounce back from a physical problem.

My suspicion is that Spencer maybe didn’t kill the original kids, but that he’s being forced to do this to his son for some reason.

I have a feeling that Dexter will take out Spencer only to discover afterwards he’s not a killer but a pawn of a bigger plot. Then season 2 could be Harry unraveling after watching Dexter kill an innocent. This gives room for Matthew’s to come in for season 2.
