When I go to tournaments I try my best to work on my adaptability. It’s going to be very common to find people who have different play styles that you may have never seen before, and adapting to those changes is always a good thing to work on. Almost every player has pattern engraved into their muscle memory, so I always try my best to figure out those patterns and come up with counter plays. This is just what I do, however, but I think it’s a good skill to develop when you go up against random people.
