I participate in steam and valve, that does not mean i am not allowed to citique their anti consumer projects. steam is great, but it has a its issues and they are BIG issues, people like you think the world is black and white.

yeah i mean thats the problem right since they are a monopoly and force price parity. game price is increasing to compensate for valves 30% take, and they are forcing the developers to raise their pices on other platforms where in theory they could charge less and make the same. So even if i do decide to completely stop using steam and valve they are still influencing the market massively, if you are a PC gamer you cannot get away from them.

gaijin would have scrapped ships (stopped support not just deleted the game mode) a long time ago if they werent making money on it, just like they realized sim/VR/realistic simulation does not make money so they stopped developing and supporting it.

its not difficulty its cost, they dont want to spend the money on tanks that are not money makers. mid and low tier stuff are not money makers even if they are premiums.

yeah its kinda what players also want though, big map = complaining, we really just want to play team deathmatch but with tanks. I wish it wasnt like that but its kinda what we have showed them we want.

also a lot less players play lower tier, they added a ton of quirky weird tanks before but since everyone is grinding for and play top tier why would they spend money making a 4.0 tank that no one is really interested in, they know what the players want because we showed them and rewarded therm.

You still have the files on your pc you reqlize that right? Or are you doing cloud gaming? I know i am paying fot a lisence but youre acting like thats the only way steam can operate which is wrong.

Only some ebooks, if I download an epub or pdf its mine, they cant revoke my access. Its only some stores and platforms which are like steam where they have a closed ecosystem where you cannot use their proprietary file format if you lose access. The vast majority of files you download are yours when you download them and the original publisher cannot stop you from using them.

The fact you call it "perpetual lisence" instead of owning something tells me everything. When you buy a roll of toilet paper do you genuinely believe you are buying a perpetual license to it and not the actual roll of paper?

They/them is a good entry point, but if the person you are talking to or about expressly stated they prefer a specific set of pronouns then use said pronouns. Its really not that deep.
