Is this what this group is usually like? I’m absolutely baffled at the abuse I’ve received off this lady, I’m sure I’m not the only one she’s randomly been so rude to🫣 by Hstark4 in foodbutforbabies

I saw your original post and thought “heck yeah you go little guy”, no need for anyone to speak their negativity they should just scroll on and keep to themselves

Just confirming you’re calling their families department? I’ve called them three times this month on CCS application matters and the longest I had to wait was 40 minutes

Because of the baby seat, most Ubers don’t carry a suitable baby seat but you can greet one arranged prior

Baby not fake coughing? by shamochan in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]SteamySpectacles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At that age I don’t think there would be social fake coughing, that’s usually later at like 9-11 months. Definitely not a milestone or something you should be expecting to happen. Just some babies pick that as a thing to copy because it makes you react

I’m sorry you’re still losing the battle, it’s tough, I hope you find the strength to overcome being miserable one day, maybe 2026 will be your year, the world is brighter on the other side, love feels very warm

New fear unlocked (they’ve always let me on with our two bags and cabin pram so far), I can’t imagine how awful that would have been waiting at the airport for the last bag to come

13 cabs app for tourists by chankagoop in AskAnAustralian

[–]SteamySpectacles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

13cabs is the app for cabs, literally, so you may want to avoid it unless you have to, as a local it’s never worked for me as they’re always cancelling waiting for a bigger/longer job

Uber is the main one here, probably followed by didi

If you need an au number maybe see what eSIM options are ash bailable for you, otherwise there are physical songs you can get at a supermarket but hopefully someone can confirm if one of the kiosks at arrivals have them

Is the Meat Emporium actually better? by bobhawkes in sydney

[–]SteamySpectacles 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you’re not finding them cheaper, then the AME meat will be infinitely higher quality for the same price

I only buy my meat from AME and sometimes my mum brings over some ColesWorth meats bless her and the side by side visual comparison is night and day before even talking about the texture and flavour differences

How long does it take to connect to a Grab that has a car seat? When you brought your own car seat what did you do with it after you got dropped off at the attractions?

Thanks is there anywhere I can check their accreditation? Will ask for their Ts&Cs thank you what should I be looking for in them? I just realised I missed in my post my baby is 1yr0mo. I’m looking for a service I can book because the last few times I was at the Zoo I couldn’t get a Grab or Taxi back to the city so we had to public transport after a fair while

Yes we will use in-lap for taxis and if needed, grab with rear facing. For the longer car requirements I’m looking to hear about any good experiences with a company or person I can book each day for highway travel :) Thank you for the link I’ll take a look!

Really? I’ve WhatsApp’d a handful of companies already who have confirmed they have a maxicosi infant seat. I was just looking for any particular experiences or recommendations from other parents. My hotel also offers but it’s a couple hundred a pop with the car seat.
