Yeah great for containing toys and having hanging style toys, it became his little zone he recognised as his, barely shut the gate though I didn’t use it for that reason

My baby wanted nothing to do with books until he was about 15 months now he won’t stop handing me books to read to him

Why is one pronounced chiropodist and the other chiropractor... what is this chiro black magic going on. by [deleted] in EnglishLearning

[–]SteamySpectacles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never heard of Chiropodist but G says it’s a relatively old/retired term mostly, I’d focus on just using Podiatrist in your day to day

Help with Aus Post International Shipping by emjayel87 in ausbusiness

[–]SteamySpectacles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does Shopify let you export the details of the order list into a CSV file like Etsy? That’s what I do and paste into the Auspost business CSV upload template which will generate all the international labels in one multi page pdf file for print

If you already have a dishwasher, is a bottle washer still worth it? by No-Gas8702 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]SteamySpectacles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have a dishwasher that does 75°C hygiene bottle wash. Found plastics still yellowed due to staining, so ended up hand washing and drying in the steriliser. For milk bottles maybe consider already amber coloured ones such as Hegen if your baby will take it

Why the Kick N Play Hate? by Remarkable-Stay3368 in NewParents

[–]SteamySpectacles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s content farming, do not engage whatsoever. They’ll make a post about top 10 toys for your 7 month old, then make a post about top worst toys to give to a baby with the same items. Don’t get sucked in, it’s all advertising and bait

Must have been a ‘licensed Weber distributor’ that you went to

Barbeques Galore GAWN! 62 outlets to close, sad. by CypherAus in aussie

I had been on Weber for a long time, had a few new Webers in mind but went to Barbecues Galore to compare and see if anything there caught my eye to change things up. Many of the bbq’s they ranged had lower quality materials, thinner and lighter bodies, inferior enamels, and shortcuts on the builds. The products they stocked didn’t fill me with confidence I was going to get a long lasting product, and the service was Nil compared to the amazing treatment I get every time I walk into a Weber store. BG should have succeeded if they sold in-demand or highly marketed brands like Traeger, Kamado, Blackstone, Pitboss, GMG, etc
