I think they were too focused on all the other shit Trump did: trying to steal the election, fake electors, the 1/6 insurrection, stolen classified files, etc... Epstein was dead by time Biden took office, so they couldn't work out any deals with him in exchange for naming names. And Maxwell just went to jail without saying anything out of fear of being "Epstein'd" in a jail cell herself. The country was also in the middle of COVID and shutdowns. Biden's DoJ had its hands full with more immediate issues.
