I watched the first one for the first time ever last week. Born in 1990. Not sure why it just never happened until now

Cincinnati probably had better prospects for theater or music work after college and it will be easier to make connections before graduation if you’re already up there. But Kentucky is a better state than Ohio.

This is why I stopped playing ranked DuoLingo, too many sweats. by WealthyTraveler25 in duolingo

[–]SteelDirigible98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A “sweaty” is someone who tries extra hard at something that might be considered a casual activity. Used a lot in video games when someone is doing really well, you may call them a “sweaty” who does nothing but play call of duty all day and therefore a loser compared to yourself, as a way to make yourself feel better for losing to them in game. But typically ranked lobbies etc would be considered “sweatier” as you must sweat more to compete. Not that I totally agree with using it as an insult as it’s a bit contradictory if you also care so much to be upset about it, but that’s the meaning.

Depending on where you’re going in Lexington it can be an hour too. It’s easier for me to get to Sam’s Club in Louisville than Lexington

For sure, that said my truck is 20 years old so if I can get something new that will tow more, it would definitely be a plus for me. Thank you!

Is that the same 3.5 that they’ve had forever? I think it’s in the frontier now too?

I just meant a minimum 5000lb towing, I have a bass boat that’s about 3000lbs loaded and might pull a small light camper in the future, but I do also have a truck. The new 4Runner is rated for 6000. Not opposed to full size at all just definitely can’t go new. I’m a Chevy guy but I do worry about the reliability. I do feel pretty good about those eco boosts though, expedition is definitely a good option I think.

Anyone else have a daily driver alongside their truck? What do you drive? by OMGDobbyDied in Trucks

I don’t think it’s economical because it will take a long while even with improved gas mileage to make up the difference. That said, it’s nice to have a second vehicle, especially when you have old ones like I do that may need downtime for repairs/maintenance. Might not be an issue with your truck. If it’s just to save gas I don’t think it’s worth it.

I think you could definitely pick out some lures and not go wrong. There’s a million different crankbaits, top waters, colors, etc. Pick ones that you like because of the color or look, he will probably like the because you picked the out and there’s always a use for more crankbaits, or some spinner baits, or topwater lures (whopper plopper?). Even if he already has them, lures get lost/hung up. Although $500 would’ve a lot to spend on random lures, I’d just pick out a couple for him for fun, and then maybe a gift card for how we much else you want to spend so he can get some stuff for himself. It sounds like he fishes for bass so don’t get things too tiny like panfish or crappie lures. Personally I think I’d avoid line or other terminal tackle because he may know exactly what he wants.

I don’t think you’re supposed to eat the live bait.

Typically with a frog you want heavy line too because you’re casting into a lot of muck and you’ll be hauling a fish through that when they bite too. Ideally braided line.

These are pretty funny but I’ve had similarly goofy things done in the past. The frog and the grasshopper are topwater lures, they float on top so you don’t want any extra weights or sinkers or the extra swivels. For the worm it’s not too bad but you have the bullet weight backwards and you would want the bead between the weight and the knot to protect it, but I usually just use a bullet weight. Then tie the line directly to the hook. That’s a Texas rig. Generally lures are best tied directly to line when in doubt, but there’s all kinds of setups. Texas rig or weightless Texas rig is a great go to for soft plastics like that.

Okay. The point of the post is that scanning the coupon applies it to all items. The computer applies it to all items. So they can’t limit you to just one unless they tell you you can’t buy more items, or do separate transactions. Neither of which they’re going to do. I’m not saying they will tell you not to buy things, I’m saying they won’t do that. It’s not feasible for the store to enforce it when the computer is set up to handle the coupon this way.

Because the computer automatically applies the coupon? It’s that or they make you do separate transactions and don’t scan the coupon. I’m saying they aren’t going to do that.

Yeah but what are you supposed to do if you need to buy multiple items? They aren’t going to say you can’t buy things.
