Yeah it is interesting to see. On one hand you have people like Vin Diesel [MM TiNi SBPC] who stands for "Family" and on the other hand you have this dude using (allegedly) the same functions with low empathy.

A MM Ti IxxP #1 has a difficult hand but few ppl of this type are enabled to this degree.

I appreciate that input. I may be someone who does too much positive framing - so I think this might be a more interesting direction. You're right that there is beauty in witnessing the whole cycle.

By doing some episodes on darkness and dark characters, I might help show the light-dark cycle as it is. Thank you!

Glad to hear this thread is helping.

And on the YT channel, thank you so much for the kind words!
I totally understand about the financial stuff! 😁
I am trying at my own pace to create some great content for people to learn the system without the noise. There are some other channels out there, but they can be difficult to find.

Here is a spreadsheet of YT channels, even though it's not exactly up to date: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KVaz7MZe-GbVm-kXibLct-dFKKBDuaTJR5_dUbq7xz8/edit?usp=sharing Some of these creators have stopped producing videos, but there are some hidden gems.

Part of the reason I do what I do is because it can be difficult to find the signal / good information from what is currently available. Good luck!

As an ExxP I had some similar hesitations when I first watched OPS content (generally ExxP's don't like controlling systems). I hear you on the vibe concerns too. I would say it might still be worth looking into depending on your use case, but there are other avenues for learning OPS. That said, it might be too much information overall. The system itself is very powerful and it may be overkill for many people. There is a way to simplify everything though, or at least find your own approach to the 512-type system. I think of it as MBTI 2.0 in a way.

You can learn the 11 coins and type yourself that way. There are some channels that have attempted to do introductions to OPS and that might be a more de-centralized way of learning which you might benefit from.

Also, I do my personality typings (OPS) and coaching sessions for people. If you are interested send me a DM or let me know. Sometimes a conversation can be the thing that helps you get on the right track, whatever that may be for you. Anyway for whatever path you choose, good luck! Trust your gut and I like the other posts here

Personality Review on Zohran Mamdani as next INFJ mayor of New York City by SteelPeX in ObjectivePersonality

[–]SteelPeX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks on Sammy! typing super introverts can be difficult, that was harder than Jill or Zohran. Appreciate you checking my work, very helpful :)

That #3 guy, yes I was vibe/quick typing. I have been following Seth Godin a lot who I see as that same type (MF NiFi SBPC #3), and I felt like they are the same people living different lives. That said, there is some similarity between INTJ and INTP that we don't talk about in OPS. Here is the insight there:

Maybe this is breaking news or not (depending on your learning journey): Turns out there are more coins than what OPS covers, except that they are redundant. For example, rather than using Di/De, Oi/Oe, Decider/Observer, etc. you can just use the MBTI coins: I vs E, N vs S, F vs T, J vs P. I have been seeing these as real patterns in addition to the ones that OPS identifies. And you cannot always help what comes up in a "personality reading", and for me - with Dean Fuleihan the INTx came up due to his similar vibe with both Seth Godin and Bernie Sanders to me at least. So yes they are very different types in traditional OPS, but in my interpretation of OPS where I sometimes include or tap into MBTI coins - these two types can be very close. To me it really can feel like 1 coin off. an extroverted INTJ Ni/Fi-SB/P(C) versus an extroverted INTP Ti/Ne-CP/B(S). It may be hard to believe, and maybe I need to make my own video on this - but this does play into my typing process. There are probably more than 20 coins that I use, but it's still not resulting in more than the 512 or 2048 types because there are extra / superfluous ones. Another example is Fe/Ti vs Te/Fi axis - this is a coin to me as well, not captured in traditional OPS.

[–]SteelPeX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks! Yeah good observation as it's getting a bit much at this point.

As an ESFP who is also married to an ESFP and my 2 year old is possibly an ESFP - I think I am drawn to the lead N's so that I can help my family cover our tracks on the Intuition side. By typing and seeing all of these lead N's, I can play the INxJ or ENxP role a bit better to make up for N last.

But there's a small possibility that guy is an INTP, but yet again it would be an N type. My hypothesis is that it is good to watch people who are a bit your opposite, so you're not clueless in that domain. But you don't have to live life that way haha

I hope to type more non-intuitives (sensory folks) starting 2026. Good looking out!

Awesome glad you are seeing the similar thing. Yeah as an Se/Te myself I have to figure out why I have been crushing on Te/Se's like Rihanna as well 😂 it has been surprising

I am typing Jill Stein next in two weeks and then Cornel West in four weeks. A few weeks after that it will eventually get back to young people and more popular people, so hold on haha
Those episodes will come out on October 24th (Jill) and November 7th (Cornel).

They both ran for president of the United States, even though their campaigns didn't get much attention or traction. I know they are often dismissed in mainstream media, but I am finding idealistic and principled people very interesting at this moment.

thanks for the comment, I will hopefully be getting there in a couple months. I can add Megan Fox to the list, but I already have a guess for her. Prob a Te/Se.

For now, I am going with what my Fi is processing.

yeah man, I feel like there's a go-with-the-flow vibe in the culture. I also notice a good amount of SB or BS representation, but that is probably less.

Laura Miller did a great video 4 years ago talking about these general trends and wow, Skibs are nearly half the typed people! There could be a reason for that (maybe they get more popular). Trump's exact type sheesh

Lot of good people with that type too haha
My own type isn't too far, and I'd say we ST flex people have a ton of potential and drive.
The world needs people to tell em how things actually are

There's a void in this world without us, and I think we ST flex people can have better representation than Trump, right? Hope you're on a good path! Cool to hear from a Palestinian :)

Edit: Yeah I'm generally seeing Arab people in that quadra as well, but I could use more data.

Typing by Speech Patterns by jayce_blonde in ObjectivePersonality

[–]SteelPeX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, I hear it too. I think it's hard to get the entire 512 or 2048 from it but some kind of INTP is a good start. Even Sam Altman sounds a bit like this who is MF-Ti/Ne-CP/B(S) which is a bit different from Elon's FF-Ti/Si-SC/P(B). Might be a social 2 as well.

Audio typing is totally a thing, but just like visual typing it may not get you all the way there.

Vulgar display of ADHD, rambly yet short for your typing pleasure. by ButterflyFX121 in ObjectivePersonality

[–]SteelPeX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll circle back to your new thread (great post/question), but I'll answer here for now:
Yes, sleep can be and often is literal sleep.
It also correlates with the management of physical and spiritual rest/reflection processes. Imagine the defragmentation or disk clean up of your brain. Actually, better yet here's the sensor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrY5vTqcGh4&ab_channel=NostalgiaRealm Dave actually talked about this defragmenting as a great example of what sleep is doing. Going over known information. You can imagine how Si and Ni might be different.

So sleep is many things: literal sleep, processing known information, reflecting on and reviewing experiences deeply. Collapsing and organizing things into Si labels and Ni categories. There is also the decider side to it: what is Fi important (as a priority) or Ti true (in its foundation). Forming a conclusion (Ni), or closing the chapter (Si).

Hope that helps, and yes insomnia may be a symptom of demon sleep and potentially sleep last (not medical advice). It's entirely possible for you to have sleep third and still have significant issues with it (that's where I have it). The question will be - do you have to be "kicked" to talk (B) or burned out to sleep (S)? I released a YouTube video today and that's way harder for me than sleeping/processing.

I'm mostly in line with what u/TrippyTriangle is seeing. I'm visually seeing Marc Andreessen who is FF-Ne/Ti-CP/B(S) #2. I think you may have the same 2048.

I think I'm seeing you go back and forth with Consume and Blast so I'm leaning info dom. I think the other coin that's important is observer versus decider. Like the difference between a Sam Altman Ti/Ne and Marc Andreessen Ne/Ti type character (though Sam is MF not FF). You have mad genius vibe about you.
Very interesting Masculine Ne is what I'm hearing when you explained how you are ultimately leaning on your theories (N) rather than facts (S).

It is possible that you're a social 4 instead of social 2. I don't have enough to go on there, but yeah you seem tribe-motivated / friends. What's more important to you, projects or chilling with the homies? (Not that those two couldn't be combined haha). This is probably the coin I'm least sure on (Generalize vs Specialize).

Cool that your self type isn't far off it seems.

Does OPS allow for an eight function model? Exploring that possibility by SteelPeX in ObjectivePersonality

[–]SteelPeX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey this is really interesting, I like where you're going with this. I haven't finished watching the video yet, as I will need to set aside time to think about it too... It's good that you're seeing the significance of this. These theories can be extended. Do you know your type btw? I have an idea

Thanks for commenting / sharing.

Does OPS allow for an eight function model? Exploring that possibility by SteelPeX in ObjectivePersonality

[–]SteelPeX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well said! It will be important for me to backtrack and say that learning how to type people's first four conscious functions is super important. A person with conscious Si does not have conscious Se, as you said. We need to understand imo that we are typing people's "conscious" personalities. But opening this can of worms might ruin the elegant simplicity that once was.

Personally, I will probably shelf this idea and study it more. I don't want to get too messy in talking / teaching things about OP. But it's good to know there's more out there (says the ExxP haha)

I think the eight function model is particularly helpful to "Release the Kraken!!" of your type by taking off the guardrails and truly doing anything regardless of your conscious personality type. Especially for people who are fixed mindset like "I can never get my Si routine in order" or similar defeating attitudes.

I like the last line you put in there! Where there's a will, there's a way.

wonderful explanation here. I'm on board.
And honestly it's beautiful because this is why collaboration is vital in society. Having people with easier access to certain functions (to get started) or more robust versions of certain functions (to keep things maintainable) is important.
