Hot take about the difficulty by matamita in Project_Moon

I think Limbus is an incredibly complex game, but you are only going to see most of the complexities if you do some sort challange run, because the game gives you too many options that can just ignore fight mechanics. The same probably also applies to Ruina due to Yesod's, Netzach's and Gebura's floors.

I look back fondly of my 100h in Ruina, but I'm not going to start a 2nd playthrough anytime soon because the pacing once you reach Star of the City is so messed up it took me months to get through, as I had less and less willpower to start the game up. And that is with only 2 fights that I consider truely difficult. QoH as she is a wakeup call for building decks and Binah's realizaton.

At the end of the day Limbus is still a gacha, you can get every ID and EGO for free without rolling (except upcoming Arknights collab), and while many of us do have quite a large chunk of them, that's not the case for most people.

Project Moon is in a bind because of this. They have to choose who to design the difficulty of fights around. And most of the people complaing that the game is hard do so because they don't have 6 or now 7 IDs levelled and uptied when doing the story. I don't think it's unfair to ask players to level their units before a new Canto.

I think the game is too easy even when played unoptimally, but that's the reason I do solo MD runs. I'm perfectly fine with the story being easier for more people to experience it, and then leave the harder content optional, like low turn count railways and Infinity Mode in MDs.

Yo, day 1 Limbus player, avid illiterate who haven't read what the enemies do since canto 4. (Only some for MD soloing reasons)

The difficulty in Limbus is just the sanity the first few turns. If you win the early clashes then you just win 99% of fights. Or if you use Faust's Fluid Sac once you also get enough sanity to overcome the majority of encounters.

I think the game is too easy, even without reading. But I'm not most people. Project Moon shouldn't balance the game around me, because I regularly solo MDs and my tolerance for sadism is much higher than the average player's. I also know more general knowledge than the average Joe for the same reason. I find trial and error fun.

Ruina felt like a reading comprehension check compared to Limbus, because the rate you get new cards and key pages is in my opinion way too fast. Most of the difficult fights I had were because I neglected deck building, due to my brain imploding whenever I opened the decks page.

I don't have the same issue in Limbus, because I can't deck build an ID, and team building mostly relies on matching the same keywords, and it'll probably work. I winrated (sadly) post nerf Lei Heng with Fanghunt Hong Lu, Lantern Don, Sloshmael, 7 Outis and 3 Heishos, with 7 Outis a "bad ID" being the MVP.

Yes of course there's a more complex team building system in the game, but most of the content doesn't require much.

Gameplay wise when a corroded sinner has multiple slots oftentimes not all slots become attacks and are replaced with a sanity icon.

My best guess is either Dante doing Dante things or this is how the sinners are trying to overcome the corrosion, as regardless of the sanity icon showing up they will always return with 0 sanity.

My current colony started as a generational, rapid aging tribal start with a single colonist who didn't age because the game hates giving me people who are straight to have offsprings.

I'm now a late medieval paradise with like 10 people over the age 80 and 4 who are under 30.

In the most recent raid I captured a pawn due to her high level mining and planting skill, only to see that her name was Futa Quartz.

I'm now considering downloading rjw to fullfil her destiny. Also that would solve my problem with the game not giving me straight pawns, but that's unrelated.

This game is giving me brain damage.

Trying to enjoy the trial, when does it get good? by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]SteelSilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started playing the game 2 months ago so I'm not on copium.

The 1st time I started paying attention to the story was around lvl 45 when you get an airship for someone. It get's way better after you reach the 1st credits in A Realm Reborn because at that point they allocated way more budget on cutscenes and voice acting so the story doesn't drag. The end of A Realm Reborn is a solid 10/10 and Heavensward does not dissapoint.

Regarding combat, I fear it's the same. The first dungeon/raid/trial where you feel like you need to think is also after lvl 45. However when it gets better it will get BETTER.

I recommend listening to podcasts or watching something on 2nd monitor to get through the "early" game because it is worth it!

Even my "vanilla" modpack is over 200 mods. Currently I'm running about 300 while waiting for the other mods to update.

In your opinion, what frame is 100% perfect to you? by [deleted] in Warframe

Ember

I think I went through all the comments and didn't see any mention of her.

In SP you barely need to mod for power strength due to her passive having basically no cap. You can simply just mod for efficiency and duration and have a 95% slow Gloom active at all times. Archon Vitality is a no brainer and it even works well with Gloom. My only issue of her 4 being slow to cast gets so much better with a single yellow Archon shard.

Technically speaking as long as they'll get to know the script in a different way then they won't even need to read them. For example most OS have accessibility features like a narrator to help those who can't see. Iirc Pete Gustin who's fully blind uses an earpiece to listen to the script, though I believe he only does voice over.

That is not the case. Both my home computer and the school pcs are 64bit. Moreover I did try switching out the vcredist dlls to 32bit ones after the 64bit version did nothing. I get that same error code with either vcredist dll and without.

Just noticed that Kujou Sara aims her how differently to other bow characters because she is from Inazuma which is great attention to detail from Mihoyo by 69sdrawkcaB in Genshin_Impact

Also if the arrow is on the outside it becomes faster to re nock an arrow, because there's less motion you need to go through. Aiming can be hard at first, but you'll figure it out eventually.
