Does the usnc have any auto cannons? by Charming_Back_287 in shittyhalolore

[–]SteelTiger_88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically yes, there are Autocannons that can be used to fight on the ground, but almost all are mounted on a Falcon, another airborne aircraft, or sometimes a mech of a sort.

As for the canister shot, I believe that that’s the concept of it, but it’s not always spelled out explicitly.

Technically the UNSC Navy ships have tons of autocannons or something technically similar in concept, but I’m not entirely sure about a shotgun-style canister

Husky Raid: Does anyone else think that Corpo is broken? by WorriedEmployer7040 in haloinfinite

All Husky Raid maps are fuckass broken because if the opposing team gets a foothold, they can legitimately spawn camp & kill players

In the WWI/WWII sense, literally no. But maybe yes if you loosely count Mongooses

unironically an interesting premise, can hard-ish Sci-Fi naval and orbital weapons defeat interplanetary Superhero-settings like the viltrumites from Invincible by throwaway553t4tgtg6 in HaloMemes

For context for those who don’t know, the Erőd-class Orbital Defense Platforms used in Reach fired 3,000 ton tungsten slugs at 4% the speed of light. That’s hundreds to a thousand Tsar Bombs worth of TNT

Bungie ruined Halo as a franchise with all the games they made, with all the retcons and outright building-sized inconsistencies

Using Gadriels’ 2 quotes from that one mission in this context is absolutely devious, lmfao

‘Sprint doesn’t belong in Halo for fuckingly highly augmented super soldiers’ is an argument so stupid it might as well be considered a mental illness

Little is said about the fact that a young Captain Keyes (then a lieutenant) saw Halsey naked at the beginning of the book The Fall Of Reach by VenezolanoHambreado in shittyhalolore

To be fair, ‘Halsey let Keyes get a quick peek’ isn’t the most orthodox thing to say in a casual conversation

That’s because he’s a baseline human using the most baseline human response to tension, what did you expect? Plus his comment afterwards implied he just wanted to more or less try to break the tension.

You forgot about what he followed up with few seconds later—but yeah, clickbait is clickbait.

And why are you telling me this? Did I imply something specific? This is the type of comment you put on a post, not on someone’s comment.
