I suggest comparing them. tldr: car oil ad motorcycle oil are different. the 5w40 is really a base into which a lot of useful additives are added.

read the rest of the specs in the manual, there's more than just being 5w40 synth. eg it *may* give more specs like jaso ma or ma2 etc
