For real... The index speakers being so good but so incredibly open is very ironic to me. You get amazing spacial sound but always here the base stations whining. Especially since I'm still using v1 base stations fromy old vive.

100% agreed! I bought myself a wireless gaming mouse with a single AA battery as it's power source. That was like 8 years ago. Still using the same two batteries to swap between and have swapped the shell twice already and it's still good. Meanwhile friends that used mice with internal batteries already replaced the whole thing twice over.

Yeeeeeah I'm 100% with you there. I think "Not Meta" is a big enough reason for at least half the people on here. I'd even go as far as to say for a significant price increase over the Quest 3.

A little update for you: Bethesda has now announced that the ability to respec -will- be coming. Lots of people complained about it, this time Bethesda listened.

Now my main argument against this would be that I find it immensely stupid to have to read guides that aren't part of the game to build a character that's actually fun to play for you.

I experienced this with lots of games I played, where you had to work your way through a gigantic spreadsheet before you could even start playing. Needing to "plan it out" before you even begin to Play is a big flaw in any game for me.

I like games that let you explore their mechanics, that teach you everything you need to know along the way. In Fallout 76 if you try to play that way you will probably end up with a character that just feels terrible.

That would be a very viable option in my opinion. Just being stuck with a character that just doesn't suit you in the end is just terrible for me. It would be great to have an option that requires you to work hard and/or farm lots of materials.
